Only the rant fears arkansas an Texas a&m right now. I also like our chances against olé miss an bama. Will we win all 4, no probably not but don't be surprised if we win 3 of 4. I like how this team responded to the asswhipping at the barners.

The Arky defense is not bad and is certainly better than UK and UF.

So, one-dimensional LSU team = bad.

One-dimensional Arky team = good. Got it.

I see Arkansas beating us by two touchdowns if that game was played today. I can already see their running backs putting on a clinic.

You are actually picking a team that hasn't won an SEC game in two years. And not only picking them to win, but picking them to dominate. Your negativity has caused you to become irrational.

pass defense

Arkansas-4.25 yards per play

This is one stat that we should never consider an advantage for us.

Let's put this into context. Look at the opponents each has played with good offenses.

Arkansas has played Auburn, Bama, aTm, and UGA.

Florida has played Bama.

Kentucky has played noone.

(if you consider LSU a strong offense then you can add those to the list for FLorida and Kentucky)

Reality is, Arky is putting up similar defensive numbers against far superior opposition to this point in the season. Statistics aside since SoS is vastly different, the eyeball test tells you Arky has a better defense than Kentucky, and isn't that far off from Florida.

For those that need to see numbers:

SoS:

Arky:
Saragin - 1
TeamRankings - 4

Florida:
Saragin - 6
TeamRankings - 17

Kentucky:
Saragin - 91
TeamRankings - 62

And still got blown out by a team with a similar offense to ours. With their back up running back.

Similar defense as well.

Gave up comparable numbers to LSU against Auburn. Bama looks to struggle on the road, small sample size as they've only been on the road twice. Look at what they did to UF at home. A&M has been exposed for what they are with out Manziel. So that leaves you UGA.

It's really a chicken or the egg argument for the most part. Does good defense make for bad opponent offense or does bad opponent offense make good defense?

Also, how can they have such a high SOS after playing Nicholls State?

Edit: LSU has played three teams with better offensive numbers than Arkansas (only beating one, however), so I think LSU's defensive numbers compared to Arkansas' offensive numbers should be fine.

I wonder if anyone has ever taken a count of the number of times he says "I know one thing" or "if there's one thing I know" during a radio segment.

The guy talks just to talk and says some ridiculous shite. Great call on state but he's been wrong since. Said we'd squeak by KY. That said, we beat aTm and should beat the hogs. We could get blown out v Ole Miss but I think we beat Bama

Harris ain't ready quite yet. He'll get there but he's got a ways to go.

And Jennings is?

And how will Harris ever get ready if he doesn't get valuable gametime experience?

Miles is already setting Jennings to be the starter next year due to gametime experience because if not we'll be right back the same place with Harris. Extremely talented but lacking game experience

I can honestly see us going anywhere from 1-3 to 3-1. Don't see us running the table or being shut out. I don't think we're really getting "hot" as a team, but it's apparent that some things are starting to click.

Whoever noted the potential growth of a young team over the course of a season may have been spot on. I guess it's the silver lining in tough years like this.

Finishing 9-3 in a year like this, with losses to three teams that have all been ranked in the top three, would be a monumental success.

I see 2-2 if we don't improve anymore. A&M looked like a team that had quit for the season Saturday, Arky is improving also. Ole Miss and Bama are both tough games.

The optimist in me sees 3-1

he was the only guy trumpeting Ms State at the beginning of the season.

He was far from the only guy. He also said they would lose that game, but go 9-3. Now he is 6-6......he has it all covered....they lose out, he can say he called it NOW....they win, he can say he called it before the season.....win win for the guy..

also, to you guys saying how good he is.... You aren't even smart enough to see that he has all angles covered and is throwing shite against the wall right now.

Also, I figured we would see all the nega's in on this thread....throw something negative out there, and the negas come a running with strong endorsements of said opinion.
