Just watched videos of these guys. Mett was so good. Odell was sooo good. So longing for this glory to return. I think Aranda will bring a stellar defense back.

Mett wasn’t THAT good. It was mostly Landry and OBJ making him look good.

I can’t recall a game Mett won that mattered. He had some good games but he’s drastically over rated. He looks like a stud because of the crap QBs before and after him.

Only time I've ever watched LSU football and not felt defeated when it's 3rd and 17.

Same here, and it’s amazing the yards amassed when 1st & 2nd downs were almost always runs that opponents defense was stacked to stop.

To many people have forgotten how bad the defense was for Mett’s last year and his knee injury. He wasn’t elite but he was far from mediocre. For such bad quarterback play to many on this board have sky high expectations.
