He's Burrow's favorite redzone target so having him healthy will be massive.

Dude has like 12 TDs and only played half the year

DId I hear correctly on the Peach Bowl broadcast that 3 WRs this season broke or tied Dwayne Bowe's 12 TD receptions in a season record? Unbelievable.

Besides being a world-class receiver, I see Marshall as a wildcard in that he keeps the defense on their heels. Just when you think you have all the other WR's in check, he comes and bites you in the rear.

So important for him to come back at 100% and not just a decoy. Ditto for Clyde. Win...

This is what I was trying, to no avail, to explain to a Clemson fan on this forum the other day.

It's not that Chase is the best in the nation (he is). It's not that Jefferson is as good as Ross (he is).

It's that we have Marshall behind both of them who could be the #1 receiver on the vast majority of teams in the country, except that he happens to be on the team with Chase and Jefferson.

Not only that, but teams have learned that not paying attention to Racey McMath will have its consequences.

Add in Moss and Clyde, and LSU has more receivers than any team not named Bama.

Anybody who thinks Clemson has some advantage over LSU in the WR department is either ignorant or just plain stupid.

Murf from Top Billin finna ban you. I’m not sure how he manages to keep subs, with him threatening to block everybody all the time.

One of the reasons I posted is because it's still not crystal clear (to me anyway) about Marshall's status. The only thing I've heard is he's a little bit ahead of Lewis and is expected to play. My question is this: when he's playing, will he be at pre-injury physical condition?? Anybody?

What's the general feel in terms of his health? It's hard to ascertain much from what CEO said earlier in the week.

Are we expecting him to play AND contribute?

I won't believe he's 100 until I see him fully extend his arms over his head.

Him at 100% is a serious problem for Clemson.

Yep. Mismatch even for their best corner. Put the #3 CB on him? He'll light them up like Jefferson did poor ole Okleehomer.

The closer to the goal line LSU gets, the more dangerous he is.

i would agree, no way Chase gets all those balls if MArshall is healthy... and honestly, if Brennan can even sniff Joes numbers next year, I could easily see Marshall winning it next year...

out of all the WR's we have he is actually the most talented as far as measurables and draft needs.. 6'5 210lb guy that can run and run afer the catch..

Chase is just so damn phsycial and athletic... hes like a taller Josh Reed.

Jefferson is also special because of how long a quick he is... not usually two things that go together... they all compliment each other so much but Terrace is honestly the biggest matchup nightmare...

i just wish Stephon Sullivan had better hands, i thought he was always the one that could have really caused many people problems at 6'7 but they just never had the confidence in him catching the football all the time...

It's part of what makes Joe so effective under pressure. It's ridiculous enough to try to guard against Chase, Jefferson, Marshall in general. Throw in the fact that you are taking guys out of coverage to bring pressure and one of them will get open. Now throw in Moss and CEH as safety valves. Someone WILL be open

+ Joe's scrambling and running ability

Clemson doesnt even have a #3 corner. They have 1 CB and 4 safeties.

Were gonna score some points for sure.

rewatching early games, I had forgotten how much he was targeted early in the season. He got a ton of work before he got hurt.

Yeah a lot of people quickly forgot that Marshall was the one leader the team in TD's.. and it wasn't even close... him missing 4 or 5 games and still having 12 scores is crazy.

Just to be perfectly clear, our top 3 WRs are more talented than what most NFL teams are able to field. It's an unreal collection of talent. We are 6 deep at WR with an elite TE and RB....and the Heisman at QB. It's got to be one of the best offensive groups (at skill positions) ever assembled.
