After that twitter answer...it is probably safe to say that he was going to be an academic casualty. Either way, this team will be fine...some of you are so doom and gloom you would think we were heading for Armageddon! Lighten up people

Decisions have consequences. Sounds like Bain didn't think his should carry any.
And I'm all for Coach O installing a little pride and disipline into this team. It's been severely lacking.

I was kidding about Coach O. I really think he is an acadmic casualty. The guy is transferring to Pearl River Junior College after being at LSU for 2 1/2 years? It's a Jr College and he is still elligible for a 2 year school? How many hours does he have? Can't be many.

Same old same old. Privileged athlete is given a free college education, makes a childish mistake, is appropriately punished for his actions, but is allowed to maintain his free college education afterward.
But no, because he's so defensive and coddled and empowered, no jail or fine and his free college education continuing is - suddenly somehow not good enough for him, because 'the man' hassled him and 'dissed ' him. So, even though the school he chose did NOTHING wrong, he is turning his back on a free education (which from the looks of it he needs desperately) so he can get back at them because he was 'disrespected.' He shouldn't even be ALLOWED to transfer....
Typical lowering of standards and accountability...
