I don’t mind pulling Hilliard, Coleman has to execute. His control along with our defense was the problem.

And if he gives up a 3 run bomb all the threads say “why didn’t Paul pull him”. Let’s not act like Hilliard has been throwing up 8 inning outings all year. Taking him out wasn’t unwarranted and it’s not why they lost. Sorry.

There wax a walk and a double prior. At best LSU gets out of that inning in a tie game.

The walk should have been a called K. If we get calls anywhere near their zone we get out of that inning unscathed. That’s a fact.

That's one of the dumbest things that I've ever heard a coach say.

Let's be honest he got f'n squeezed there. Max Ferguson struck out looking the ump just didn't agree. Awfully inconsistent strike zone all game long

Let’s do something because it worked last week. Paul has no ability to sense what’s happening in the current game. He hasn’t had that ability for 15 years.

No one would have said that. He was dealing. No one was saying take him out.

Would have been an idiot for keeping him in and a idiot for taking him out ! The rant never fails

Yes a pitcher can be pulled too soon and left in too long. You have provided zero insight and not added an once of intelligent thought to this thread.

Pitching didn't lose the game. It was a lack of infielder play.

I would of waited to pull Hill as well but…

Doughty lost the game. Deal with it. You’re in denial.

Do you even 2014 Houston?

Kurt McCune pitched a great final two innings in the SEC championship so Paul decided to ride McCune in the 8th inning up 4 and a few outs away from winning the regional. McCune gave up the lead as we got to our rested, usual closer too late.

Why are you agreeing with me and posting to me like you’re not agreeing with me.

Or the lack of ability to score runs. We had plenty of chances to score runs but instead have their starter a career high 12ks....Doughty didn’t lose shite. He made one mistake and we didn’t get hits when we needed then.

So let me get this straight...people are losing their minds because Hilliard didn’t pitch one more inning..cause zero chance he should go further than that. So who comes in after that? Coleman right? So he magically doesn’t give up runs because we waited an extra inning?
