There's no reason they can't play 3 more games, which includes ua & uf, take week off and then play out the rest of the sched. The biggest prob is the game action they'll miss b4 au. If they didn't have qb probs of their own, we'd be in a bind

If this game is canceled, it hurts LSU more than it helps, I'm afraid. North Texas will not prove to be much of an opponent for LSU to prepare for Auburn. Not to mention the long stretch of games without a break late in the season.

Very true. I should have added....I understand the cleanup effort as well as the need to cancel...I'm just more or less stating the obvious regarding positive/negative about cancellation.
I'm now more concerned about the Auburn game now....not having a worthy warmup game.

True. On a positive note it makes the Auburn game even more intriguing for Tigerfans because we really dont know what we have and we will still be starving for football at that point because the Ntexas game will be fairly vanilla.
