25-19-2. 79-82, last year of the Mac era and three years of Stovall.

I fared a little better, being a little ahead of you - time at the main campus was 87 to 91, missing the 88 season, so 24-20-1 (counting the tie as half and half, about .533)

'91 - '95 23-32-1

'91 5-6
'92 2-9
'93 5-6
'94 4-7
'95 7-4-1

In 1995, LSU was actually in the top 25 for 3 weeks. We played in the Independence Bowl and beat Michigan State (coached by Nick Saban)

That '92 season was very miserable.

This is why I don't complain about playing in day games. I spent 5 years as a student watching the Tigers get emabarassed on most nights when they played.

1989 Mike Archer 4-7 Toilet Bowl

Thanks goodness there are no ties these days.

Not sure how to figure in the ties but 66%

The 1987 team (10-1-1) was awesome---should have beaten OU but tied---and lost to Alabama
