How many people here do you think have taken a tour of these facilities at every SEC school? Would you believe them if they told you they have?

Believe it or not Ole Miss and Arkansas have really nice football facilities.

Ark maybe but Ole Piss (NOT!!!!!)

Ole Piss actually does have nice facilities thanks to the Manning family.

The Cloak of Manning Pubes is pretty awesome. I know it's painted with gold leaf, but it is a stunning achievement. The Argonauts = Ole Miss fans. Great tragedies live forever, like Walks of Co-Champions See It Says So On The Flag.

2.UF
3.LSU

I've been in Tennessee's and they're not as nice as you'd think.
I'd say
1. Ark.
2. LSU
3. Bama
but UF could be in there, and I wouldnt be surprised if South Carolina's were really nice too, along with UGA's. I just havent seen pics of those 3 schools. I've only been in LSU and Ut's....

True. I totally forgot about bama, and they are nice. I have seen them.

South Carolina's facilities are probably the worst in the east.

True. They are in the back room of "Uncle Earl's Smokey Pit." Lou Holtz will give you an extra piece of sausage with "slawce" if you ask purty.

i've been given a tour by someone who has been in the others. this person will tell you that lsu's is as good as anyone else's.
but the building isn't the whole story. several schools have nice buildings. how it's run is a very, very big deal. in that regard, lsu has been on the cutting edge of college football administration and medicine/therapy since the arrival of you-know-who in 2000. he created a very business, corporate-like environment. there are probably only a handful of schools that run their program like lsu. i've seen the software used to track the health of the players and it's impressive. the way uniforms and equipment are handled and transported is impressively organized.
the average college football fan looks at the building and assumes the texas' of the world are on top just because the building has a nice flame job or racing stripes.

We could guess all day at which SEC school has the best, but we can all agree that Oregon has the VERY best.

I don't know when everyone else built theirs but ours is only 2yrs old? I worked on it as an intern for TAF in 04 right before I graduated and it was really nice and "complete" I think it helped out with the program as well as the other "olympic" sports because I think they took over the old weight room which was a vast improvement for those programs considering that they were working out in that shitty room under the p mac.

whats amazing is that as recent as the
80's when jerry stovall was in the same office used by gaynell tinsley and stovall asst.
coaches had small offices in north stadium
which were so small they could barely fit an average desk and phone.
the locker room was upgraded about this time and
player meeting rooms started but no comparison
to what we have today...and weight room was on
level of avg. big high school
compared to nebraska and oklahoma etc...in the
70-80's we were behind in facilities more than
we knew

I work with most of the SEC schools and I would rank them:
1) Ar Kansas
2) LSU
3) UGA
4) Tenn
Best I have seen in the country is Nebraska, it just has a awe factor that most don't. Players lounge was built by Larry the Cable guy.
Worst is by far S. Carolina in the SEC.

I personally think LSU facility has to be one of the nicest ones...esp Miles office. Weight room is very nice with their mountain of muscle milk last time i went.
