McKnight was biggest miss. Worked out fine but was a big blow to the ego.

Did LSU recruit Reggie Wayne? My memory is vague, but I remember him being touted as one of the fastest WRs to ever come out of HS.
Pretty big miss along with Faulk and Reed.

From what I heard San Diego State was the only school that recruited him to play RB. Everyone else, including Curly, recruited him to play DB.

Terry Bradshaw
sorry if mentioned before.

john david booty was probably a bigger miss than Berlin. He was the best QB in the nation as a HS JR

Surprised no one has mentioned John Fourcade yet (if we're talking about their HS accomplishments only).

McKnight was told by LSU to hit the road after he demanded money and a scholly for his gf. He would have done to LSU what he did to USC. frick him.
I was always pissed that Isaac Hilliard didn't come with Faulk. Could have made a special team even more special.
But then, we might still have DiNardo.

John David Crow. The Bear came on the LSU campus & got him as his girlfriend was already at Bama.

Joe McKnight was the 2007 version of Leonard Fournette.
a less talented, smaller version maybe

Faulk or Manning. Anyone else is wrong.
Heard the story that we had the chance to recruit him, Steve McNair and Ike Hilliard, but Curley wanted them all to play DB. Wonder if we could have moved the ball at all with McNair handing off to Marshall Faulk and throwing to Ike Hilliard.

Ed Reed. Dude was from freaking Destrehan.

Whoever said John David crow was right.
McKnight was the biggest meltdown for sure.
Another one for the old timers is Johnny hector

How in the world did Kordell Stewart end up at Colorado?

Left him off on purpose. We won SEC and National Championships during his era with less touted Quarterbacks. Not sure what he would have added.
Well we may have won a title in 2002?

We didn't miss on Bradshaw. He's said many times he would have gone to LSU if he would have had the grades to get in. B/c he didn't he went to tech.
