re: 3* ATH Tae Provens (Madison Co/Alabama) Commits - ParrishGore
It's more of a hypothesis than theory, but yea, it should be. I can name off the top of my head a few 3 stars who went to LSU and then the NFL, as many three's as four's. Off the top of my head that is. But, yea, it'd be a fun little project. :geauxtigers:...

re: 3* ATH Tae Provens (Madison Co/Alabama) Commits - ParrishGore
I guess people don't realize LSU has probably put more three stars into the NFL than four stars. By the end of their senior season, every single one of these 3 stars could be upgraded to 4 stars. Like you said, it's early in the evaluation process. Plus, I think it may help LSU recruit the state ...

Congrat's to the Louisiana State University Baseball Tiger's!!!! Has anyone heard that song, 'Omaha'? If so, does anyone else think it's the frickin' corny as heck? :geauxtigers: :geauxtigers: :geauxtigers:...

re: Fitt is whining on twitter about final strike call - ParrishGore
There were a few questionable calls. Well, not really questionable, there were a few that were just bad. Close call's, but the wrong call. If they had been called against LSU I'd of been throwing a 'Fitt'. But, there's always bad calls, in every sport and every gender I've watched the last few y...

re: Let's talk Papierski right quick... - ParrishGore
I'm happy for Papierski, but I have no idea why he froze when he was on third and got caught in a run down. I thought he should have been sprinting for home as soon as the ball was hit. I mean, soon as he realized it was going to hit on the third base line. Either that or get back to the third ba...

re: 5* QB Justin Fields Decommits from Penn State - ParrishGore
LMFAO!!!! I gotta hand it to ya. I've heard a lot of cliché's describing a person's joyous excitement, but don't think I've ever heard that one. At least not in the context of the subject matter here. I'd like the dude in BR too. But what I'm really thankful for is we now have a coach who can d...

re: Who is the next QB from Louisiana that is a program changer? - ParrishGore
Craig Nall was in there for a year or 2. Stan Humphries was a year ahead of Hodson and left after Hodson beat him out for the job. Ironically, Humphries had a much better NFL career than Hodson. There just havn't been a lot of "game changers" to come out of La. High Schools who went to LSU. You ...

re: Javonte Smart - ParrishGore
Yea, it seems that Wade will be the kind of guy who can make connections out of state and bring in some talent. IDK if it's just me or not, but it seemed like the team chemistry with Jones as head coach was like a mixed bag of candy. Like, there was talent but none that really complimented the oth...

re: Javonte Smart - ParrishGore
I understand your opinion concerning in-state talent in Louisiana and I agree that most years the state only produces enough talent to be around a top 25 team. But, there will be those years (maybe every 4 or 5 years) when Louisiana will produce the kind of talent to take a team to the final four a...

re: Glenn Beal TE 2018 committing Wednesday - ParrishGore
Well Ghost, if he commits to LSU I hope he honors his word. I grew up in Walker which is a 30 min drive from the LSU campus, so I've been LSU since I can remember (sometime around 1970) So, maybe I just have biased emotions toward LSU and the state of Louisiana, but it's always been LSU and I've a...

re: Next 2 Days Crucial for In State Recruiting - ParrishGore
I hope I am wrong, but from what has happened so far with LSU and in-state recruiting, it's history repeating itself. It's the 1970's and 1980's and 1990's all over again. It's the same shite with recruits who want to win NC's. If they don't believe LSU can beat Saban and compete for NC's they wil...

re: Glenn Beal TE 2018 committing Wednesday - ParrishGore
Exactly! I mean, who knows what the kid will do a year from now. This is turning out to be one of the most frustrating recruiting years for in-state talent that I've seen in a long time. But, I think the LSU staff has done a very good job out of state. :geauxtigers:...

re: Rivals' Mike Farrell has Jacob Phillips to LSU - ParrishGore
Oh, you mean a good QB like Jason White? QB's tend to look better when they play against teams who can't play defense. Ask your big brother Jason White. He looked great until LSU (specifically Lionel Turner) rammed that Heisman up his ahole. SEC defense's generally make those Big 12 great QB's l...

re: Shea Dixon CB's Travis Etienne to Clemson - ParrishGore
This recruiting season will be the culmination of years of losing to Alabama. These players want a chance to win a NC and the common belief is that LSU can't beat Alabama and they can't win a NC. Les Miles and his lack of producing an offense that could score enough points to beat Alabama has sent...

re: Chris Allen on the way? - ParrishGore
I think the last OC under Miles who had total control over the offense and play calling was Jimbo. And I still think Miles tried controlling aspects of the offense even then. :geauxtigers:...

re: Per Shea: Christopher Allen shuts down recruitment, sticking with Alabama - ParrishGore
And here is the true test of Coach O's ability to recruit out of state player's. He and his staff will need to replace these band wagoner's with players from out of state of equal ability who play the same position's. The problem LSU had for so many years was they would lose these type players and...

re: Chris Allen on the way? - ParrishGore
Yea, that's sorta the way I feel about Moses committing to LSU. It was nothing but trolling to begin with. Well, all I can say is don't expect to beat LSU 3 years straight again. With the addition of a very good and proven college OC, things will be different. Hell, things would have been differ...
