I won't be praying for them. Want nothing but ill will for the opposition when we are playing.

n what way?

In 2009 we had some guys on defense at all three levels that were like stars or were becoming stars. In 2010, Nevis, Sheppard, and Peterson were all first team All SEC. In 2014 we had guys like Godchaux, Beckwith, and White AND Adams, they could all make a huge leap as well. In 2009 we had on 20 sacks. The very next year, we had 34. In 2014 we had 19 sacks and we have the capability and the coaching to explode here as well. That was also the year that Claiborne emerged as corner for us, and the greatness of hyper playmaker freshman Mathieu tore it up. We have guys like Toliver, Paris, and Thomas vying for that 2nd corner spot, and we have likely playmakers in nickel players like Thomas, Toliver, Jackson, and Adams.

There are a couple of similarities, and I'm excited for the possibilities on defense.

The offense just looks to be waaay better than the 2010 team though. I mean the running game will be much better as well as the passing game, and we still won 10 games in the division. That year all but one team from the West finished outside of the top 15. Four teams won at least 10 games, and 5 teams won at least 9 games. I could see the West being tough like that this year as well.

2010
Auburn 12-0
Arky 10-2 (won tiebreaker)
LSU 10-2
Bama 9-3
MSU 8-4
Ole Miss 4-8

I actually think LSU has the best chance to win the division this year. The away team has been the better team (meaning usually won) in the Bama/LSU series the past 15 years. Ole Miss still doesn't have a run game *yet* and if Kelly is as int prone as Bo, IDC what anybody says, that defense won't be good enough to get them enough wins. Both East opponents are dealing with a whole lot of mess and transition. We get Auburn and MSU early before they can regroup. Arky loses the 3 players in their defensive front 7, that made that defense. Their rush offense against SEC opponents is overrated (look at the numbers), plus they lose the better half of their 1-2 punch at RB. Allen may make the pass offense better, but that game is at home and so is the final game against TAMU.

The schedule sets up well and if we can go 3-0 early, Harris and the front 7 has 5 games where they can mature and be ready for big game against Bama.

Those ESPN guys have been around a lot of fall camps this year and LSU has stood out as the most impressive of all the schools.

If Brandon can lead us through Auburn his confidence level would be out the roof and then it's smooth sailing from there

If LSU beats auburn, they will be 8-0 when they face bama

Then, November will dictate how the season is told

I really hope you are right..........

BUT........

You go and post something stupid like this...You act like LSU s the perfect team with NO problems at all and the rest of the west SUCK...

Face it dude...LSU has to regroup just as much as any team in the west... Last I checked LSU had lost three of its last four games... It sounds like some regrouping needs to be done here as well as other schools....

UNTIL we see how the QB play evolves we will have NO CLUE how wel this team will be... And one game against McNeese isn't gonna show much..

I am not trying to be a nega-tiger here...Just pointing out things to you that YOU will fail to realize..........

State lost three of its last four and returns 7 starters from last year's team.
Auburn lost four of its last five and is completely re-tooling their offense.

Yes, catching these teams early is a huge blessing.

Shouldn't you be policing the O-T??????

I sat a lot of positive things about LSU... I am a huge LSU fan....Just not a FAN of LSU fans that think this team has zero weaknesses and will just cream everybody on the schedule.......

Paige...Do you think LSU goes 14-0?????
