Try time for the Tigers!
Conversion good.

14-5 LSU with the lead 2 minutes till half.

And again just like that. Another score by the Tigers. Both by forwards. Kick is good again. Great job with the conversions on a nasty rainy windy day.

21-5 lead at the half for the good guys.

Quick strike by the Aggies off of a scrum. Long break by the A&M scrum half. Try A&M.

21-10 LSU.

Huge loss a few minutes later as superstar fullback goes down without contact. Possible knee injury, he's trying to play through it now but he is far from 100%

Too many drops on a wet day for LSU. Still remains 21-10 due to a few missed opportunities for LSU. 20 minutes to play.

LSU All-American Brennan running like a machine. Tigers finally string together a few phases without dropping the ball and score again. Miss the conversion. 26-10 Tiger lead.

This Tiger squad is good at scoring in bunches. Another try for LSU, the kick is good. Now 33-10 LSU lead. 5 minutes to go, LSU wants 40.

For the love of God, I am constantly reminded after joining this site and making a profile ,instead of just occasionally reading a topic or two, that I'm not as big of an LSU fan as I thought I was...some of y'all are capable of watching this crap? Just the sport in general , man,I just can't care no matter how hard I try lol...

Damn,I bet some of y'all watch women sports too lol...im just joking, I realize there's no way y'all really watch softball or gymnastics..just was making a point...lol, I know that that's a low blow ,and I'm sorry for that ..there may really be people out there that watch the women sports teams..i love women more then life itself but man ,hard to watch
..not saying they wouldn't school my arse in bball or softball though lol..i always thought it was funny when my brothers 110 pound friend said he could beat up Ronda rouseyg even when she was giving out issuesleft and right,he has an issue with respecting women. I don't, but just can't watch the teams ,I can't watch the men's teams either in the same crap sports ....

I'm watching the game with a couple of the coaches that couldn't make the trip. I also played for 5 years from 2009-2014 so I'm pretty heavily invested in LSU rugby. So bad camera work from a bad angle is better than nothing for me.

Final. A 33-10 win for LSU. A big win for the Tigers despite the nasty weather in College Station. Knock-ons and penalties kept LSU frustrated for most of the match but with 2 quick tries before half and 2 more with 10 to play, LSU kept A&M at bay. With this victory LSU has clinched the Red River South with a game to play. This team has still never lost a Red River match and is fired up for a shot at fresh blood come playoff time.

Next week LSU is off as Arkansas has cancelled the trip to Baton Rouge. The Tigers finish up against a Houston team they embarrassed earlier in the year.

Nothing crazy, repeated penalties and played the jumper in the air.

#17 LSU Clinches South Division
Article from D1A about the Red River matches this past weekend. Here's the LSU segment.

#17 LSU 33-10 Texas A&M
quote:

LSU continues to turn heads in D1A, and while advancing in the D1A playoffs is a major goal for the program this year, the Tigers have the added conference championship appearance to now focus on in three weeks time. The squad also remained perfect in the conference with their latest win against the Aggies.

Using their 27-17 loss to #8 Arkansas State as motivation, the Tigers’ new found confidence showed on the scoreboard. They were led by freshman hooker Hunter Breit, who recorded two tries and four conversions. Alec Miller was close behind with two tries of his own, and scored first for LSU in the 5th minute.

For A&M, a try in the 15th minute kept the game close for most of the first half, but the one-two punch of Breit and Miller gave LSU a comfortable 21-5 lead at the half. The Aggies responded in the opening minutes of the second half to make it 21-10, but it was all Tigers after. Two more scores in the 65th and 69th minute sealed it for LSU.

While the Louisiana State hopefuls shift to championship mode, Texas A&M’s regular season comes to a close with the loss.
