one of the best songs ever, damn PC crowd ruins everything. I hate Ole Miss, yet love the rivalry and tradition between the two schools. Tradition, something kind of being destroyed at Ole Miss, Black Bears? Really? No more Dixie, Really? Damn shame.

Ole Miss pussies fearfully surrendered to the NAACP Political-Correctness gnomes and killed off Colonel Reb faster than a brown bear craps in the woods.

It no longer deserves the respect to be anyone's rival.

I consider the Ole Miss game the 2nd biggest game of the year behind BAMA. I HATE Ole Miss. Im in my early 20s.....Maybe it has something to do with my parents (both LSU grads) instilling that Ole Miss hate at an early age but nevertheless, GO to Hell Ole Miss!...

You summed it all perfectly. Tradition is what makes the SEC what it is. We "hate" Ole Miss but respect them and they are our brothers and sisters.

Who is this "we" you speak of? These days Ole Miss has no appreciation for "tradition".

"Geaux to Hell Brown Bears" just doesn't cut it, you know?

Ole Miss just isn't what is used to be anymore. No more confederate flags, dixie, slow dixie, colonel reb, etc...This rivalry just isn't the same. Ole Miss isn't the same. It's like LSU is playing a whole different school out there. Well, they still do suck, but some things never change. In all seriousness, it just isn't the same to me. It feels different. I care way more about Auburn, Alabama, and Florida now. I think this rivalry/hatred is more one sided than Ole Miss fans want to believe, but that's my .02.

We still play "Dixie". "From Dixie With Love" (Slow Dixie) was banned because the students kept chanting "The South Will Rise Again" at the end of it. Hopefully, you'll be hearing this again in a couple of years.

i grew up in the 60's on the Denham Springs side of Hwy. 190 (Florida Blvd) just east of the Amite River bridge. Back then teams road a bus to games. every year that Ole Miss came to Tiger Stadium someone hung a "Go to hell Ole Miss" sign on the bridge where the team bus and all the fans had to drive past. fellas, those were the days.

Purple and Gold Confederate Flags

The true essence of Deep South football was always Ole Miss LSU. Where is Keith Jackson and the Pick of Dixie game of the week?

My dad s a 79 year old Ole Miss fan. He used to tell me bedtime stories about LSU Ole Miss games back in the lat 50's early 60's. This is his favorite game of the year.

He has a love hate relationship with LSU. There is no game he wants to win more, but yet he loves LSU for their colorfulness. He pulls for LSU unless they are playing Ole Miss.

I remember seeing many of these. Are these still waved at LSU?
