This would royally suck! The Outhouse has screwed us before and they don't deserve us.

I hope & pray most season ticket holders didn't check the box for this bowl on their application.

I'll go to the Cap One, Cotton, or Gator...but screw the Outhouse. Tampa is great but the bowl isn't!

You sound like a high school girl who's finally been asked out by a guy that's pushed you aside for years.

Outback gives a change of scenery, a good opponent just like Cotton, and a city much more fun than Dallas.

ETA: What about Cotton passing on us last year for Johnny Futbol? No jilted lover syndrome there?

Tampa >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Orlando, stadiums and city.

I've heard better things about Tampa. But I think the opponent will have to be juicy for the fanbase to get excited about going.

Check the Outback's record of selecting a team from the west. (once in 16 years)

I skipped the TCU game because of last year's Cotton Bowl decision. I can least understand their rationale to an extent as we've played several games (TCU, Oregon, Texas A&M) there recently.

The Outhouse has had NO good excuse for bypassing teams from the West so screw them. You can go but I won't. If my 13 straight year bowl streak comes to an end...so be it.

This is your excuse for not supporting your team, enjoying a good bowl game, traveling to a decent city, etc? Seriously?

I would definitely prefer a team other than Wisconsin obviously, but if you told me we'd get a trip to Tampa that involves watching the Tigers play, I'd be all over it, and it shouldn't be that hard to sell.

Still don't understand why the Cap One would pass on #21 Wisconsin at 9-3 for unranked 8-4 Iowa.

They wouldn't.

Rose bowl already said that they will replace it's Big Ten slot with another Big Ten team. The other teams avaialbe - Baylor, OkSU just don't travel well.

If for some reason Big Ten has just one BCS,The runner up goes to Cap 1, Wisconsin in outback. That's not likely though.

But there will be a lot of wheeling and dealing on the SEC / BowlCommittee side.

I can guarantee you I support my team more than the overwhelming majority of people on this site.

I really enjoy the clowns who complain about attendance or leaving early...but aren't season ticket holders and have rarely (if ever) witnessed a game in person.

I've been to more road games than most have seen games at Tiger Stadium. Question my loyalty all you want but don't do it unless your rear is in the stadium at the Outhouse Bowl.

Absolutely! In today's college football there's only one way to vote and that's with your money.

I can spend my money in Ybor City anytime but it won't be for that bowl game. Please post photos when you get there.

Unfortunately, in today's college football, for every ticket you won't buy, there's ten people who will.

So we will play Wisconsin more than we play teams in the SEC east.

If Alabama gets to go to the Rose Bowl to play the PAC 12 champion I'll be jelly as frick.

I think the PAC will do their typical thing and invite a Big 10 team whether or not they get the actual champ.

If tOSU loses to Michigan State they'll take tOSU. If Michigan State loses I have to think they'll probably still take Michigan State with 2 losses to play the ASU/Stanford winner.

Actually I'd prefer the Outback Bowl over the Cotton for selfish reasons. The wife and girls want me to take them to Disneyworld in early January. Two birds with one stone baby.

the Cotton is in LSU's best interest money wise, because there is not as much traveling involved as compared to any bowl in Florida because of the very large alumni chapters in both Dallas and Tarrant counties
