Tampa a great destination Bowl/ vacation...Ybor City for cigars and spanish food at the Columbian Restaurant, then night life. Wake up with a hang over and head across the bay to Clearwater beach with front row view of the hard bodies. Next day take the kids to Busch Gardens. Take in the free Buds touring Busch brewery.

Then game time in a terrific stadium for the big WIn, followed by celebrating the victory at Mons Venus for the shoe show.

Columbia Restaurant in Ybor City is a great venue for Cuban and Spanish food. LINK If we wind up going "bowling" in Tampa, it's a must eat there place for LSU fans. They have other locations nearby, including St. Pete and Sarasota.

Clemson and Auburn did that recently, Chicken Bowl two years ago and opened in Atlanta last season.

Did they also open against each other the season after that? 3 of LSU's next 15 games would be against Wisconsin.

They both pay the same. The Cotton Bowl "prestige" comes from moving to a later date for less competition and moving from the rickety old Cotton Bowl stadium to Jerryworld.

the history. Cotton Bowl was founded in 1937.

Outback was 1986 but was previously known as the Hall of Fame Bowl which was founded in 1977.

LSU fans are more comfortable in Dtown. I don't see Tampa Bay getting that much of a draw from the fanbase and we all know that Orlando is a hell hole as far as the Cap One goes [which we definitely aren't going there.
