I have season baseball and football.
I pay all taf fees for both.
I split baseball tickets with another person and I attend only half of football and sell the rest.

Depending on increase I am on fence about not renewing football.

Perhaps the raise in ticket prices will encourage ticket holders to value the tickets and actually show up for games for more than a quarter.

That's just silly. In reality lowering the price of tickets would likely results in the stadium being full through the fourth quarter because poor people are more likely to appreciate the experience.

What's the point of having 110,000 seats when the stadium is only 65% full because the tickets are too damn high? Dealing with a price hike plus the traffic woes are going to keep a lot of fans home.

People might not be showing up to the games, but they are selling the seats. The LSUAD is making their money.

It is a total con game just like the rest of the entertainment industry.
Until people stop buying, it will continue.
LSU will have a huge issue with this stadium addition. The supply is now going to far exceed the demand unless we at least start winning our division again.

That is what they are banking on and like stated some will sacrifice until can't do it any longer like me and others in the thresd and/or become more and more corporate and less people in the stands.

So basically more seats for Chase Bank and Capital One, while the old folks who sit behind me, (who's tickets were passed down from her mom and dad who sat there since the 1930's) will finally get pushed out of the stadium.

I thought the fans didn't pay the coaches' salaries? That what the Rant says anyways.

Sooner or later normal fans will be priced out, and businesses will scoop them up. They will then be handed off by venders, and fairweather first timers will be filling up Tiger Stadium.
