This is awesome. Thanksgiving Holidays just got a lot LOT better. Can't wait to spend all day eating with the family watching NFL, than getting ready for the night game with some leftovers.

The strange thing about this to me is that CBS has had a big hold on the Arkansas-LSU Friday game. They love it and it gets great ratings. They got to air our game and the Iron Bowl on consecutive days. I doubt they give that up without a fight.

I hated the Friday afternoon game but I love this idea. Primetime on thanksgiving night is HUGE! The stadium will be rocking! The only drawback, as others have mentioned, is the short turnaround from the Ole Miss game.

I call bullshite. First atm vs LSU game in Death Valley will be at capacity. I've been dreaming about this since moving to Houston back in 99.

This fan base is embarrassing. We get to play on Thanksgiving, at night, only college game on TV, with the whole nation watching, against Texas A&M and people are bitching?
I immediately thought "oh wow, Thanksgiving will be even cooler." More football is always good...and now it's LSU FOOTBALL on Thanksgiving? This is awesome.

This thread has proven what I've always thought about Lsu fans that they like to tailgate more than they actually like football. Which is also why they like college baseball over basketball

Let me go ahead and restate that it's not going to change my plans to attend the game, but unfortunately, I believe that many others are going to have a hard time getting to the game on Thanksgiving Night.

I would imagine that there would be a shift in the scheduling if this were to happen.
I mean, it's not happening this year, and the full schedule hasn't been announced for next year. I would imagine that you will see a directional school in front of that A&M game if this were to play out.
