I would imagine that you will see a directional school in front of that A&M game if this were to play out.

That would be pretty late in the season to have the likes of ULL or ULM coming into TS.

I just hope they meant the Friday after Thanksgiving. Has it been confirmed that it is Thanksgiving day?

Lord, no.

These are just the ramblings of a bull ball cutter.

They could also throw an open date in there as well...

Every year? IDK about this. I never bitched about the Arky game being on friday mainly because I could enjoy Thanksgiving fully and also have a full day of rest before I get on the road to BR.

Will you be going to the game? It might be a great thing for LSU fans all around the country, but many of the 92,000 that go to the games will have an issue with it.

This isn't the first sporting event to be played on a holiday. If Cowboys fans, Lions fans, and even Saints fans a couple years ago can go to a game on Thanksgiving - then LSU fans can too. Plus this is at NIGHT. Eat lunch, hang with the fam, and then head out. Or celebrate a day earlier or later. It isn't the end of the world.

As others have stated, it seems as though the tailgating is the bigger issue here which is somewhat pathetic.

In that case I'm out. Nothing to see here.

So you think most LSU fans arrive on campus 2 hours before kickoff????

Some people have jobs. There's no way a big family can have everybody available on the day before, or the day after.

It's already been decided that LSU and Texas A&M are going to play in primetime on Thanksgiving night in the future.

I love it.

This is for this year?? The ESPN LSU schedule took Arkansas out, but I don't see any sources that even mention this besides that tweet. Whether or not they mean this year isn't clear at all. They'll have to change a lot of schedules because of the ripple effect it'd create.

I wish it were the day after Thanksgiving though.. As someone else already said, Thanksgiving is a day to be with family and that'll be hard for us LSU fans to do if we're tailgating all day

Who cares about thanksgiving? It is the dumbest holiday .I would much rather go to a football game, then eat turkey and dressing on a fabricated holiday.

I have no idea as to why ESPN has taken it off the schedule, but there's no way that they could do it this year.

lsusports.net still has Arky there so, until that changes, I'm going with it - not ESPN.

Why would they want to compete with the NFL anyway? Thanksgiving Day belongs to the NFL!
