its fans like you that are the reason our fanbase is being laughed at right now by the rest of the country. I ask again, what good does booing contribute to? Do you think that by your booing, something is going to be done? Not at all. It makes the players want to quit on you, recruits want to go to bama, florida, texas...instead of LSU, and again, makes the entire nation point and laugh at us.

no wonder jarret lee is such a headcase now...we saw what booing him multiple times did. and now we are doing it to the only other scholarship qb on the roster....i fricking love our fans

I don't agree with this at all. If your saying that you have the best fans in the country and the loudest venue in college football. Well you have this because you have the most loyal and ardent fan base. Now that fan base is not blind and one of the negatives about having such a loyal fan base is when you are not putting out a good product on the field they are gonna let you know that also. You can't just have the good all the time. Now if everything was going good it would be a different story, these are fans that know about football and what it takes to compete in the SEC. Yea true we are undefeated at 4-0 but this is not against the elite competition that is coming up on the schedule. And with no passing threat we will lose to Arkansas, Alabama, Auburn, and Florida. That is why the dissent among the fans. If you don't like the booing do something to fix it other than ask the fans not to do it!!

He didn't say that you don't have the right to boo.

Why dont you worry about doing your job and see that the right coaching changes are made!!!

Change the coaches of a 4-0, #10 ranked team? Yeah...because the potential coaches would love to get themselves into that hornet's nest of a situation.

Havent you noticed we been on the backend on the offensive for two years now!!!

Actually, the offense wasn't all that bad last year...especially considering all of the injuries at RB.

Are there problems - definitely.

Are they going to make sweeping coaching changes right now - definitely not.

So, instead of looking like a raging moron at the game by 'booing', which, let's be honest, is right up there with flicking your booger on someone in 2nd grade, why not voice your displeasure in other ways that doesn't make the entire fan base look just as stupid as you?

Stop going to the games if you don't like the product.

Stop buying the merchandise.

Stop giving financially to TAF (if you do).

There are many other ways that have a more direct impact on the program than you yelling 'boo' from the fricking WU.

But when some among the crowd are vocally disapproving of our own players or coaches, it is detrimental on many levels. It impacts the morale of the players, it reflects poorly on our reputation, it sends a poor message of sportsmanship to the young people in the crowd and it delivers a negative message to recruits in attendance. As the Tigers play on national television against Tennessee on Saturday afternoon, I hope the Tiger Nation will be at its best.

Translation:

STFU, you'll get a shitty product and like it. Do not voice your displeasure about players, do not voice your displeasure with coaches, do not voice your displeasure with the administrations. Pay your TAF, buy your season tickets, and stop complaining about results. Your opinions don't matter. Thanks.

FWIW, I didn't, and have never booed in our stadium, but the thin skin demonstrated by Miles postgame and Alleva in this letter is just as detrimental as any drunk retard expressing his anger by booing.

STFU and fix the problem JOE!

As spot on as that open letter is, it wont change of thing.

In fact, it was a waste of time. Glad Alleva has all that time to waste.

Yo, Dipshit, I was at the game, dont miss a home game nor road game, and I dont Boo, but i do see a problem when there is one and dont need someone telling me what my rights are. If they want to Boo at something they dont agree with, then they shoud be able to voice there opinion!

other than ruin the best QB on the team mentally and kill the confidence of one of the best OC's in the game? I can't really think of anything else other than potentially ruining the only other scholarship qb on the team!

so to you, loyality includes booing and degrading your football team?

loyality=support.

it doesnt mean you have to agree with everything though, but it does mean being supportive while the game is going on. you wanna bitch, call in one of the numerous radio shows or post on here.

As someone who is as anti-miles as they come booing him, the coaches, or any player is not acceptable in my opinion. There are other more apporiate ways to voice your displeasure. This forum, emails to higher ups, and not attending events are good ways to voice your dissatisfaction.
