people need to quit saying they were booing the coaches. they damn well know they were booing jefferson, just as they booed jarret lee in 08' and jamarcus, randle, etc...if we were booing miles then we would be booing every single game.
the players know this, and so do the recruits who are sitting in the stands or on the sidelines. like i said, it does nothing positive. Joe hit the nail on the head with this one but he was way too nice about it. shoulda threw a few "mother frickers" in there

I agree. Booing your own players (or coaches) is classless!!!!!!!!

It is a good general note. The only issue is that it leaves no opportunity for Miles to hear the voices of thousands that are very angry with him. Miles and the LSU media insulates him from the overwhelming disagreement with the coaching he is getting paid 3.8 Mill to perform.
It is unfortunate that we have no real voice, yet as Chicken says, Alleva is correct.
We just have to suck it up and manage our outrage in a vacuum and not show it at the only real place we can - during the game.
Letters to Alleva will probably be placed in file 13, as they must be flowing in in abundance. It won't matter anyway, because all we really need to do is beat 1 out of 4 of the real games remaining, and we will win 9 games and Miles will be safe.
Then, we will repeat the entire process next year.

It's sad he has to write this, but it was true.
I was in the student section last weekend against UWV. And, while I was extremely disappointed and dissatisfied with some of the playcall and the QB play, I did not boo our players. Silence is the best response, IMO.

My only issue is that now this is going to be picked up by all media outlets that the administration is begging LSU fans not to boo...which is just going to keep the issue in the spotlight. Did we really need an official letter?

Then fix the problem Joe. We know you can hear us. Tiger fans are not going to put up with Miles and this mess much longer. People don't just want to surrender to Alabama and Florida. Sorry...
We pay a salary for a top 10 coaching staff..We want one.

Some say they boo the coach because he makes the decision on which QB to play and what plays to run.

I don't think the boos were all coming from the students....that would just be vulgarity and obscene gestures.
