You say that like that is a possibility. The absolute floor for this team is 8-5 including the bowl. That would mean a rash of injuries or suspension and the team absolutely quitting. Les has never lost more than 5 games in a season and call me crazy for thinking that won't happen this with his most experienced team since 2007.

I was exaggerating for emphasis, but yeah I don't think it's possible to go worse than 8-5 with this roster.

Or it can be said why didn't we do that with all the talent we had in '13-'15

Yes, I'm sure you cry babies will revert to complaining about these years if he is successful for the next three... No matter how successful Les is, it is clear that stubborn opinions will be stubborn opinions

I think you are joking about saying that but there will be a portion of the fanbase that would say that just to give Miles less credit. Will also say that he finally let his coaches coach and they won in spite of him.

In my humble opinion.....If Lester loses a sixth straight to UAT and Nicky Saban he should be gone immediately. It doesn't matter to me if he wins all other games. I have to live with the Gumps and their arrogance and this losing crap is getting old. If I remember correctly, Coach Mac had a similar problem with Coach Bryant and it ended up costing him his job.

No, I've got a problem with you having a short-term perspective and always finding blame in anything the man does or doesn't do. You're like the liberals that criticized Trump for coming to Louisiana this past week, no matter what the man does you will find a reason to criticize him. I get it though, some of you let your high strung emotions get the best of you when making decisions. It's frustrating to see just how many irrational fans we have.

That being said, I'm all for holding the man accountable, if he can't get it done next year then he probably needs to go, but I have no doubt at all he will get it done this year and believe he will have success in '17 and '18 as well.

So I'll just sit back and watch him have success while y'all find new ways to criticize him over the next few years, should be fun lol

I have had problems with out passing offense since before 1-9-12. Until we can show the ability to complete crucial passes consistently I will always have a problem. We are too talented not to be able to attack teams with the pass when the run is shut down.

my mindset and most that criticize CLM are pretty much the exact opposite of this. The ones who refuse to say he has weaknesses and should improve have a very liberal mindset

Every real LSU fan wants this...just because some don't have the unwavering confidence yall have doesn't make us any less of a fan.

I agree with most of what you said because I believe he realizes that he has an extremely talented team and this is the Tigers best advantage year compared to our SEC opponents in a long time. I am enthused as well!

However, if you think he has changed much I believe you will be disappointed. With Fournette in the Heisman race I believe Les will be run heavy again this year. Not a Les hater or apologist... just a realist. He is playing with house money now.

Yah, getting spanked by SEC rivals again and again will do that. But his players with run through walls for him.

So basically the LSU football program exists to make you feel good and so you can stick it to the Bama fans?
Is that it?
Well aren't you special.

This is probably the most talented team on paper he has coached, with the exception of the 2011 team - and I think the overall talent is on par this year.

He has a Heisman front-runner with a back-up that would start for any other SEC team IMO. (Don't let the Scarborough hype fool you).

The toughest, and most critical, two games on the schedule are at home (Bama and OM).

If Miles cannot win it this year, then he never will win it ("it" being the SEC). Win the SEC and you have a shot at the National Title - that is all anyone can ask for is a shot.

If Miles wins the SEC this year, I'll consider him and the season a success. Less than that, barring unforeseen, unpreventable issues at key positions (like injuries), and Miles needs to be seriously evaluated as the head coach moving forward at year's end.**

**The problem with firing Miles is I have less faith in Alleva than Miles...or a used car salesman.
