Looks like he's lost weight, got himself in much better shape and is full of enthusiasm and fire. Judging from the past few weeks of practice, he & his staff are working everybody's tails off. He came within a whisker of being fired and appears to have rededicated himself to this football team & university.

I believe he personally got the message. This should be a really special year!

I realize the neverLes crowd will attack, but I like his new persona.

Great.

I'm all for it.

No excuses for Les this season.

November will tell the tale.

that's cool that les lost weight.

if different means he's opening up the passing game for a more balanced offense than im all in.

Hell, he actually knows what it like to be carried of the field for his last game as a head coach at LSU because he was that close. If that doesn't set reality in and that things need to change, nothing will.

This.

Richt won 9 regular season games and his team won a 10th in the bowl and he was canned in favor of an assistant coach.

When your boss pays you in excess of $4mil a year, gives you carte blache for assistants and facilities, and you can't win your division for (what will have been) five straight years, it's time for a change. 10-2 won't win the west this year.

I hope you are right that he got the message. And I hope you are correct that he will be different. However, I still fear that he will just double down on stupid and try to push his predictable offensive philosophy even harder.

It doesn't matter how much talent we have. bama will have as much talent but with BETTER coaching. Fact. Even teams with less talent beat us because of better coaching. Fact. I have seen this movie before. I know the ending. Three loses. Invitation to the Corn Flake Bowl.

No 3 loss for this team this season. If they lose more than one I would be very surprised. This team is THAT good.

That is very encouraging.

Lots of concerns over his health last season, especially after his minor incident

Les did look off last season and I am not being mean or cracking a joke.

Here's to a great season

Today's gospel talked about wailing and gnashing of teeth... An omen?

I am already girding my loins to prepare for this season. Hope he proves me wrong the big oaf.

I could not care less about his persona.

I just want to see him fix the offense and get us back to being legit title contenders.

Yea right... Because LSU can't hire a good coach and everyone of his critics is wrong.
