Yea right... Because LSU can't hire a good coach and everyone of his critics is wrong.

It's not that LSU can't hire another good coach. It is that you have a better chance of finding a coach that is worse than Les than finding one the is better because they just don't have that many out there. I believed Les deserved this one year because this team the HE built can win it all. If it is another same old thing then you have to say this is the ceiling and move on.

LSU made back to back great hires which is extremely rare. Expecting them to make a 3rd in a row is a huge gamble that you don't take with a team that is returning this much talent.

Les should go old school and wear the Madonna-style headset he wore during the 2005 Arizona State game...

Every Coach is a little different every year because every year poses slightly different problems , if you negatigers think yall scared him you are wrong and you still don't run this team ,but you can dream all you want !

When your boss pays you in excess of $4mil a year, gives you carte blache for assistants and facilities, and you can't win your division for (what will have been) five straight years, it's time for a change. 10-2 won't win the west this year

Because the other guy winning it makes double and has way more resources given to him.

And that's a fact.

We really have the worst fans in the country...

No we have fans paying primo prices for everything who expect the admin and coaching staff to get their collective heads out of their collective arses and get this team to perform at peak efficiency and at least get a whiff of the playoffs.....not nosedive in November, shitting the bed along the way so that we limp into some mid tier bowl matched up against a team that shouldnt even be allowed to carry our jocks....then play to their level and eek out a win or lose.

Is that too much to ask?

Les Miles is absolutely untouchable for the foreseeable future. He is more powerful than FKing and certainly owns Joe Alleva. I am hoping for the best this year but I made the decision after last year to not let it get to me anymore. Barring a major incident, like lack of institutional control type shite, Les is as safe as it gets. Here's to 9-10 wins and a fun year with an OK bowl. Anything better than that will be a surprise to me. I've just seen this movie too many times before.

You're right. You should move out of the country.

I just don't get this line of thinking.

He has no clout at the moment, except for his buyout...which gets lower after this year.

Not even saying I want him gone, but his seat is pretty toasty. Imho

look at Obama

thanks. until you came through with your Obama analogy, I had no idea what workplace complacency was.

I've been struggling to understand physics' M-theory. Could you explain that to me with another brilliant Obama analogy? Thanks in advance.

I used to say this too. But he lost me.

I do think the fact that we have this many players coming back will be huge though. And not just for this year.

Hell, he actually knows what it like to be carried of the field for his last game as a head coach at LSU

Actually, I don't think this is true. Didn't they tell him at halftime that he was staying? Point is valid anyway, though.

We will see just how well Georgia will do with this assistant coach at the helm vs his performance. Something tells me that the bulldog faithful will be regretful come October.

Based on a story from a poster on here. That doesn't mean anything.

To be fair LSU already has a good/great coach... it appears like fans unrealistically want another "Saban".

winner, winner, chicken dinner. Some have not moved on. They wont admit it, but it's still a scorned woman that can't get over the man that left her mentality.
