So yes, I'd rather see LSU fail short term if it means Miles is gone.

So because one disgruntled fan says this we all feel this way? nice generalizing there.

You asked for proof. Run from it any way you need to.

I think some would sacrifice a year of failure rather than another 5 years of mediocrity.

And I'm going to win the lottery!!

Looking at some other schools' offenses. Wow, having the country's most highly paid OC is really paying off for us!

Les should look no further than what Dan Enos is doing at Arkansas. They're the perfect blend of a power run game with the ability to spread the ball out
That's probably why Miles and Cam are watching film of other offenses. Trying to learn how to do those type things. They tried to update the offense this season, just doesn't look very well planned when they try it. Plus they seem to have a problem coaching execution on anything other then I formation dive plays and deep pass plays probably due to Cam/Miles lack of familiarity of anything else. Cam comes from a 'air Coryell' background which features mainly deep passes and dive plays so he and Miles are going to have to watch other teams game film to learn other offenses plays and schemes and philosophys.

Another? Mind showing me the first 5 years of mediocrity?

That was just in this thread. You asked for it and there it was.
I would start a thread asking that question but it would likely get whacked pretty quick. But I guarantee there would be responses.

Miles...said #LSU will look at some spread offenses ran by other schools
Merely seeing that type of offense doesn't nearly mean understanding or implimenting.

It's not about the spread vs our plain vanilla attack.
It's about not having plain vanilla, predictable play calling. It's about having more formations that spread the field (not just a spread "offense" per se). It's about having a route tree that includes more than just two routes: go & deep fade.
It's about having a Plan B, being able to make half time adjustments to implement it when Plan A isn't working.
It's about being able to self-analyze and say, you know, throughout my entire tenure we've had trouble getting plays in timely and have had to waste a lot of time outs, take a lot delay of games and it negatively affects the OL as far as their reads and trying to concentrate on the snap count, resulting in more offensive false starts than most teams of similar caliber. What should I do to fix that?
These are simple things to be expected of any $4.5M/yr coach but these simple adjustments simply aren't afforded to our fan base.
I don't care if your Plan B or attempt to adjust to fix a problem ends up not being effective. But don't just keep trotting out the same mistakes and same vanilla and getting the same results. Do SOMETHING to show you're at least TRYING to make improvements.

Yeah, he said "you dumbasses" which is inarguably plural, and is also pretty clearly meant to be a broad generalization referring to those wanting Miles gone. Citing one occurrence as "proof" of a broad generalization unfortunately passes as logic on this board, with several of the usual suspects chiming in to cheer the "logical coup".
I want Miles gone asap, but will be cheering hard for my tigers today. I suspect that a large majority of those of us who want a coaching change are like me and can't pull against their team, but I can understand how some would prefer a loss if it means, what is in their view, a long term larger benefit. This " you aren't a real fan unless you agree with me " attitude is utter bullshite.

This. Don't get the want for Baylor type BS. Just quit with the deep all or nothing pass plays, mix in the TE across the middle and keep our running identity.

That's a theory, my statement is fact.
