We threw the ball on the first 5 out of 6 plays. First 3 drives opened with a pass

I'm convinced some LSU fans do not actually watch the games.

Brandon missed.

A real key to this loss. He had a bad outing until he got hot in garbage time. Different result if he'd been hot at the start...possibly.

Frankly, if I have LF, then my team is gonna be a running team.

But, our offense is completely devoid of certain elements that just boggle the mind.

If you want to loosen the linebackers who keep stuffing your run, single receiver fly routes do jack shite for that.

If the pass rush is eating your arse, quick slants, screens and WR screens are the typical response.

I could go on, but the point is, we seem to do NONE of the standard things you'd expect in response to defenses and worse, we ALWAYS enter games seemingly oblivious to the other team's demonstrated weaknesses.

This has gone back for a long time. I can still recall facing an AU team with an absolutely awful pass defense and JR at QB.............and Miles ran ground and pound. It was as if Miles was completely unaware of AU's film.

I get that you do what you're good at, but you can't be fricking obtuse about it and Miles has ALWAYS been obtuse about it.

So again, how do y'all know it's Les and not Cam?

The offense has pretty much looked the same since 2005, with some exceptions, no matter the OC. That's how I know.

I knew in 2006, when LSU bunched up at the Florida goal line, EVERYONE knew it was going to be a QB sneak, Florida had what looked like 15 men around the LSU center, the ball was snapped, OL pushed back, fumbled, lost the ball (turnover). That game opened my eyes.

IMO LSU had the most talented team in the country in 2006, and some announcers said the same. The offense was "shackled by something" - not dynamic, predictable, and could not adjust well.

The only thing we havent ever exposed is the other teams' inability to defend the pass.
35 attempts was trumped by only 16 for Allen. Seems lack of a run game is most detrimental.
I feel the OL may step up vs OM.....or hope anyway.
