He was not given the opportunity to utilize his much improved footwork though (sarcasm).

The D just seems to have an extra step under these new Coordinators than they did under the Chief.

I love how all of y'all are jumping on this when you can't even see who was throwing from the left side of the field... and how nobody is mentioning how Harris was high on about half of his throws.

It's the first day of fall practice. Chill the fck out.

Jenning's throws weren't great, and they should be better for sure, but they all should have been caught. They were almost all the next to last pass in the drill which might have something to do with that.

OK. Ya'll made me check.

So, my quick count was 16 total drops. 5 thrown by Jennings.

Admittedly, early on, it was going poorly. Something like 4 of the first 6 drops were AJ throws.

But, I mean, ya'll know I'm no fan of AJ. So, there's the numbers I got.

Per Dandy Don this morning, FWIW...

quote:

• Tight end DeSean Smith demonstrated great hands and did better than anyone in the portion of the gauntlet drill that I recorded. In fact, he was the only player to merit praise from receivers coach Tony Ball.

Wait. Um. What?

I mean, I posted the numbers. They aren't actually as bad as people said.

But frick man. You didn't know which throw was AJ? I mean, damn man. Pull your head out of your arse.

I'm very excited about donte jackson. He has speed that can't be taught and I really look for him to make an impact this year in a adoree jackson type of way.

Dude... I'm chill. it is OBVIOUS to anyone who watched the video. I am not dogging AJ, I'm dogging YOU. I believe that they all looked catchable.

That's why I looked rather than just assuming the people who said most of the drops were AJ were correct.

I mean, I think AJ is a godawful QB. But, I'm still not going to just regurgitate something without checking. Numbers turned out to be pretty normal.

Anybody read lips? All I got was, "pheeeew, Wow"
Then "fast" was somewhere in there but I can't make it out.
