So your saying Satan's players get drafted because they have reached their potential and NFL coaches don't want players with big upsides?

saban's players get drafted because NFL coaches like getting players that are well coached and they know what their going to get out of them...Id bet the house that GM's and Coach's like drafting players that they KNOW are going to be successful rather than taking someone on a guess...

Talking about Saban period is lame, with the exception of the week of Bama-LSU game.

Just sitting here and wondering where this talk comes from?

You have to understand that LSU has more talent than just bout any team other than the Saints and that Miles is responsible for the 15 L's on his record and none of the 52 W's in the minds of some.

Once you wrap your mind around that delusional thought process, you can better understand the "talk" you speak of.

Don't blame Miles for not developing talent. Blame him for not hiring assistants good enough to develop talent.

The most over used/misunderstood/taken out of context phrase ever surrounding LSU football

So far the only guys that are hall of famers didn't play for either saban or miles. And I hate to say, but none of sabans players from lsu will be. Prob none of miles either, unless some guys still on the team turn into amazing pros.

I do think both coaches develop talent. The problem is the schemes. And maybe just maybe some kids hit their peak in highschool or part way through college.

Awesome example and if I remember correctly the wonderful talent evaluator Les Miles kept who on the bench for the majority of their LSU career.

Comparing Miles to Saban in any aspect of coaching is ridiculous.

Saban @ LSU 2000-2004 48 wins, 16 losses / 1 BCS Trophy

Miles @ LSU 2005-2009 51 wins, 15 losses / 1 BCS Trophy

Yeah, I can't imagine how anyone could possibly compare these two guys at LSU. Ridiculous....

Not so. Only at the QB and OLINE has Miles failed to recruit and develop..

Best results for an LSU coach in our HISTORY!

Why any "LSU fan" would want to find ways to belittle the best coaching results in LSU history is a mystery to me, but each to our own.

If your truely comparing Saban's record (the building of our program) to Miles Record (riding his coatails) you are clinically insane...Miles was left with a gold mine...and look what he has done with it...8-8 in the sec the last two years...(you dont have to be a miles lover or hater to know that)....it is amazing to me that someones brain could be that small...

I'm sure you hear this from women all the time, but "is that all you got"?

Go ahead- tell me that Miles won his title with Saban's players, next- I'm waiting.

Whatever. If we win 9 games this season, lots of folks such as yourself will lose all credibility. Don't be shocked when it happens....

Until then- feel free to root against us.

Both coordinators are terrible play callers- that doesn't help.
