The SEC Saban coached against when he was HC at LSU was NOT as challenging as the SEC Les has coached against in his 9 seasons.

Where do you get this? Please cite a specific instance that Coach Miles accepts 10 win seasons? Or accepts 'mediocrity'?

Would you accept 11 win seasons? Be careful how you answer.... by your reckoning, Saban 'accepts' 11 win seasons. (Notice Saban had one loss less than Miles this year).

Go back and look at the players on the 2001 SEC Championship squad and tell me how many were DiNardo's and how many were Saban's. The 2003 season was Saban's fourth year here, so by that time he had three classes that were entirely his own, and whatever the mix was coming in that 2000 year. So, it's not like it happened in "2 years" like you said.

CLM is in the arena!
Where the pressure to win is unbearable for most(urban Meyer comes to mind)and the demands of your time and effort needed to win in this league are substantial. Many sacrifices come with being in the arena, along with the accolades and the paycheck.
If u cant see the correlation then I dont know what to tell u.

Saban coached here 4 YEARS , WON 2 SEC Championships and a NATIONAL CHANPIONSHIP in only 4 seasons. And His recruits all but 1 started, won the 07. It was so bad when Saban got here we were busing the Players to the practice field, there were no big budgets for arse Coaches, there was no academic center to help recruit, All the new facilities were built because of M Emmert and Saban. I say to you now IF DINARDO would have followed Saban he would have done much better than Miles has.

To VJM41: Your revisionist history is incorrect. Saban coached here for 5 years, not 4. 2000 was his first year, and 2004 was his last. And, it was Miles's recruit who quarterbacked us to the 2007 National Championship game. Remember Ryan Perriolloux?

Saban was here 5 years he coached 4 seasons, Miles was Hired and coached in 2005. Matt Flynn was the QB in 07.// But I'll give you this lets say 5 years he still won 2 SEC Championships and a NC. Something Miles has taken Twice as long to accomplish. But what is TIME if you don't know how to tell it, O that's rite Clock Management. And To this day Miles has still not recruited and won a National Championship. All that's right he came close as he was SPANKED on National Television by Saban while embarrassing the state and the University.

A couple of the posters here remind me of a friend who still worships Nick Saban. The two Alabama losses this year? He blames officiating. It is a sickness.
