if you could know that both of them finish the season with 2000 yards, 14 TDS and 10 INTs,

but in fact we dont. so we are going with the guy with more experience, who has been there and done that and won games, even in the past season.

can we please just fricking STOP. JL is our quarterback, he will be our quarterback until he is no longer our quarterback. Thats it. End of Story. We dont need 20 threads a day saying the same shite over and over.

what's wrong with comparing one player on our roster with others, and even (gasp) arguing that some on the bench should be starting?

granted, it's a pretty popular topic. but again, aren't debates like this one the raison d'etre for TD? if you don't want to partake, just don't waste your time.

I have no problem debating one players advantages over anothers. I do have a problem with the same thread being started 20 times a day. Speak your point in one of the other thousands of threads just like yours.

because give Mett one more year to learn, and he only needs to play 1 year to win a NC.

Coaches debate everyday about players. I'm sure the one about the QB situation gets debated all the time between the coaches. Yea if you don't like the thread, Play dead.

Couple of things here.....

Nothing is wrong with comparing a player to another on our roster. However:

This is what is driving most fans, myself included, insane. It's getting completely out of hand.

Post your thread in one of the 100's that have already been started about this. No need to add to the thread count of QB debates.

why does a new thread vs. adding to an old thread matter? either way, it gets bumped to the top...

You ever look at the guidelines for this site?

<------- 2nd from the bottom.

10. DO take a minute to check for an existing thread on a topic of interest to you before starting a new thread.

We don't need 20 threads in a row since they've been bumped to the top, as you put it, regarding QB's. It's ridiculous.

Because it gets to the point where you have 3 or 4 threads on the front page about jl vs mett taking away topics that people aren't sick of discussing. I really wish the admins would sticky an official qb debate thread and wack/ban all others started. Its getting ridiculous.

I assume a college staff at a program as successful as LSU know more about player use than me and 99.9% of the people who post on this board. I could be wrong though.

Mett gets 3rd quarter.
must reward the dedication, time and work that Lee has put in.

Isn't it great that the qb discussion is now about who is better and not who is worse.

When has Les Miles ever used 1 half of football as justification for making personnel changes? He is as stubborn as they come as far as in season changes go, we have thoroughly experienced this, what makes now any different? In fact, this is the only time in the last 3 years I feel like where he hasn't had less of a reason to make any changes, we have blown the doors off both teams. This argument should have ended with the Nw St. game last Saturday, or just never have took place.
