Nico, it's not worth it with some of these guys. They've written off Lee, just like others have written of JJ. The difference they choose to ignore, however, is that Lee has always been a man and composed when dealing with his mistakes and failures while JJ has acted like a spoiled brat pissing and moaning every time he's screwed up or things didn't work out.
Furthermore, why do people assume Les always plays the best player at a position? Have you all forgotten the running game in 2006? Seriously? It wasn't until more than halfway through the season that he made a change.
For whatever reason, Les has JJ as a pet project, and is determined to make it work with him. I don't know the reasons, but I am sure Les has some good one in his mind. Maybe JJ's ego is so fragile that benching him would lead to him quitting or throwing the team under the bus. I don't know, but to act like JJ's earned it on the field is pretty ridiculous.

We will be fine if our O-line plays like it should lights out!!!!!! Which in turn will help our running game with our amazing running backs. If that happens lee will have a field day throwing to our receivers who will be guarded by not the best of CB"s

people are acting like Andrew Luck is going to the bench and we're bringing in Lester Ricard...
the other side is acting like Jefferson is going to the bench and Sam Bradford is entering the line up

I believe Lee can get it done, let's hope he's ready for this.

I don't think it will be so much of the playbook as opposed to just more of the option aspect of it.
This is a personality/ identity change, I'm afraid.

Can you JL critics please go with something else beside the "Pick 6" thing? Please? Good lord, folks, that was in 2008. He hasn't thrown a pick six in a game since then. Y'all act like every other throw is going the other way for a TD.
I'm not saying I think Lee is gonna win the Heisman, but I think he gives us a better option in the passing game. So what if he can't run. We're going to have a solid running game, and once he hits on a few slants against 1-on-1 coverage because OU stacks 8 in the box, the Ducks will have to back off. Then we'll start pounding the rock again.
JJ has better wheels. Everyone knows it. Lee has the better arm. Hopefully, Stud and Krags will call a game he's comfortable with and LSU will run away with a big win in Big D.

most of you guys would make terrible coaches. you make excuses for everyone's mistakes and place the blame on a bad call. some people just f up at times. any passing play has multiple reads, options, and checkdowns. it is up to the qb to make the correct one and put his team in an advantageous position.
I'll guess that's in reference to my point. It was a bad pass, and I acknowledged it, but Lee has thrown 1 INT in 89 passes. JJ threw 10 in 209 passes. So JJ throws and INT every 21 passes, while Lee throws an INT every 89 passes. Yeah, he's horrible.
No one is saying Lee is going to be lights out, but the guy deserves a chance and the support of the fans. He got 1 year starting as a true freshman where the OC did him absolutely no favors. The offense was toned down to help JJ adjust in 2009, and he did okay, but when they made it a bit more complicated, he was just horrible.

Anyone been able to confirm this yet?

ZTiger87, have you ever heard Lee blame anyone else since his freshman year for his mistakes? Have you ever heard him say a negative word about his teammates since then? Have you heard him blame the coaches/play calling once? Has he pouted constantly on the sidelines when he doesn't get his way? Has he claimed to have played a good game when netting literally 4 total yards of offense against a FCS school?
