Lee will start vs Oregon

The coaches will go with whom they think gives the team the best chance to win. But I still think that Mett has more upside, and should be given the first shot. Lee could be brought in if Mett falters. Remember that Cam Newton went right from JUCO to the SEC, and we know how that turned out.

They didn't have any other options. Miles will not put in someone new to the team over people that have been there.

I'm not one of the JJ haters jumping for joy that our QB is out 2 weeks before the game. The team has 2 weeks to put together a new game plan for Oregon. Rather than the type of offense they've been working on all summer. Good fricking luck.

That's where I'm at.

I think Lee can get us through 3 games before things get too bad. About the same as what I was hoping from JJ.

Hopefully, Mett can get ready in that span and take over.

Its ok just to say you dont like JLee.
Much quicker than make these round about posts as you are doing.

Lee has obviously had some tough times but last year he was impressive considering how he was used by the staff. There is not another player in football who deserves to have some good things happen and if he does indeed start vs Oregon I for one hope he leads this team to one hell of an arse whipping of the ducks. GEAUX TIGERS!!!

Dude, a majority of the offense is based on both QBs. Lee will be fine against this..

Oregon secondary:
All in all, for the LSU game it looks like the rotation will be Anthony Gildon (5th year senior), Terrance Mitchell (redshirt frosh), Troy Hill (redshirt frosh), Iko Ekpre-Olomu (true frosh),

I hope he comes in and throws a pick his first throw every game. Once he got that out of the way, he always played much better.

At this point Lee needs to start no matter what comes out the next few days. However LEE, you better pray to whatever you pray to that he does well or you may wanna ban yourself for a few days.

This from Bayou Bengals.com:

today's practice up on the site. It confirms Derek Ponamsky's early and accurate report that Jordan Jefferson got all the snaps with the 1's today.

I just want to win, but some of this blind optimism for Lee is stunning. Lee definitely hasn't done anything over the last three years to feel more confident about our QB position.

Hopefully if he starts he will play awesome. I definitely don't want him to fail because we will probably lose in that case.

If JL can avoid the pick 6's and functions effectively as the game's manager like Matt Mauck or Flyn with occasional bombs, we'll be alright.

Honestly Jlee couldturn out to be a better passer than both flynn and mauck.

No doubt that JL is a better passer at all, just don't complete a pass to the wrong hands, we'll be OK.

Not reading all 11 pages but it's about damn time if this is true. The better qb in camp I presume.
