Earlier on 104.5 Lane Kiffin stated that LSU won the game four times against the Aggies, and noted the targeting call against White was the wrong call, he explained how Coach was deflated afterwards leading up to the Alabama game over the suspension, the host noted that Kiffin and coach O talk weekly.

Kiffin was praising how well LSU played this season and defended LSU, noting the numerous bad calls that went against the Tigers, almost as if he was trolling LSU fans about maybe coming here, knowing how much this fan base wants a top offensive coordinator.

Kiffen is fluffing us up so he'll be the top candidate for the HC position if/when O flames out or the OC position if Lane flames out as HC at Florida Atlantic.

Kiffin is making 950K at FAU.

quote:

Kiffin will continue to earn his annual salary of $950,000. The original contract was attached to a $2.5 million buyout clause after the first year and decreased by $500,000 after each season he remains with the program.

He signed an extension in June through 2027.

Maybe he was just speaking the truth. People sometimes do that, even in today's environment.

Offer him 1.8 to come here. He would be worth as much as Aranda on the other side of the ball. Buy out his 2 million

Kiffin always does.

quote:

Matt Canada and LSU's offensive staff went to Boca Raton, Fla., to exchange ideas with FAU's staff.

quote:

"Obviously I didn't help very much," Kiffin joked, alluding to the disappointing 2017 season LSU had on offense, ending with Canada and LSU going their separate ways after just one season.

"I just watched that (Citrus Bowl) game yesterday," Kiffin said. "Watching LSU's offense ... I left Orgeron a message, 'Hey, did you have a bonus in the contract for your offensive coordinator, for every shift he got extra money?'"

Kiffin is like the flirtatious woman with big boobs and a nice arse, and the LSU fan base is like the guy who has grown distant from his wife.

This right here is why Orgeron still isn't ready to run a major program. You absolutely cannot let things like that seep into the rest of the team. If 1 player (even Devin White) getting suspended has such an affect on the coach that it disrupted the entire team then that is a major issue in my opinion. You have to be able to compartmentalize setbacks and only let them affect you as little as absolutely possible. God Dammit that is terrible leadership.

jlovel, normally I would agree with you. I am no CherriO. Kiffin stated right after that, however, O bounced back the next day with his usual optimism. Just like everyone else in sports, you get the one day to either celebrate or wallow in the outcome of last night.

Kiffin taking shots at Canada is funny considering Briles ran his great offense last year and when Briles left and went to Houston Kiffin’s offense at FAU took a big step backwards. Perhaps FAU’s season last year could be more attributed to Briles than Kiffin.

I am fine with this and would welcome Kiffin to Baton Rouge with open arms. I don't give a shite if he's a cocky prick. People forget he had Tenner on a big upswing, and had 08 Bama who won the whole deal beat until Terrence Cody blocked that FG. He was recruiting lights out.

If O doesn't work out, Kiffin, come on down.

O is working out better than Kiffin is at his podunk gig. Why would LSU take Kiffin if he flamed out at a rinky dink program?

I mean LSU took O after he flamed out at Ole Miss. And when I say flamed out, I mean absolute shitshow.

Kiffin is as good as he can recruit, like any coach. He can't recruit top guys to play at FAU. He'd crush recruiting in south LA. You think O would be knockin' em dead at FAU?

Again, Kiffin had Tenner on the upswing, and it's hard to judge him at USC as they had so many sanctions. JMO

Totally a fair comparison!

Former coach at FAU was 9-27. Kiffin is 16-10.
