Just cuz no one else drafted him doesn't mean the saints didn't frick up by not drafting him. That's the dumbest logic ever.
Miami didn't sign Brees in 2006 cuz they didn't like the way his shoulder looked. By your logic, they didn't make a dumb decision cuz 31 other teams also didn't sign Brees.

Bravo. I don't care for the Cowboys or its GM, but I'll say that Jones did right by Collins.

He will always be chasing lost money because he wasn't drafted in the 1st round like he was projected. 1st round rookie contracts are for 4 years. La'el was able to sign an extension much earlier than a draft pick because he was an undrafted free agent.
This deal means he has now made up for most of that lost money. He will now make almost as much in his first 5 years as he would have if he was drafted, played 4 years under a rookie deal, then signed a good second contract.
He will also be one of the highest payed right Tackles in the league.

And has there been any word on finding the killer of the young woman?

I see Miles Garrett is on Tigerdroppings. He has to be the only downvote.

I will never believe that if the Saints drafted him he was going to refuse to sign and sit out a whole year.
Long gone now. Doesn't matter now.

So fricking ignorant. Not a single team drafted him. No one. To call out any one team and say they fricked up is just retarded.

But it's not.........Dallas obviously did their homework and STOLE a first round pick. The Saints completely FRICKED that up. But hey, As far as LSU is concerned they can throw that name around and point to the dollar bills. KID GOT SCREWEWD OUT OF FIRST ROUND $$$$, BUT GOT PAID

Dude's a beast. Congrats to him.

I loved watching La'el manhandle Myles Garrett in that game! All the hype about the then freshmen DE, and La'el just mauled him all night.

Absurd the Saints didn't take him.

How do you and all the others know the Saints "FRICKED that up?" Are you certain they didn't talk to him, or at least try to?
Let's go over it again. Nobody was going to draft him. They didn't know what the outcome of the investigation would be, and, even though his agent kept saying there was nothing to it, nobody was going to risk wasting a first or second round pick on a guy who might land in jail...or worse. Then, his agent told the entire league that he wouldn't sign for less than second round money, so why waste ANY pick that you've already been told would be a waste?
He was then a free agent. He could sign with anybody and HE PICKED DALLAS. The Saints had no way to frick-up anything if he wouldn't let them in the door! Again, how does anyone know the Saints blew it?
It must be wonderful to flit through life judging everything in hindsight. Maybe one day all of you will make decisions that turn out wrong after the fact but were the best you could do with the information available at the time. Then, maybe you'll understand that life isn't perfect and nobody's judgment is infallible every time.
Sorry if this doesn't fit your narrative. If all you want to do is criticize people, start by looking in the mirror.

The Saints fricked this one up big time.
The New Orleans Saints will not win another Super Bowl for a very long time due to stupid personnel misses like this one.
