I don't believe Rivers was the answer. The guy that didn't have a chest however looked fairly good last year in Cincy.

How do you know the staff didn't look into or try for transfers? You assume they didn't because they were happy with what they had, but wouldn't they always look to improve the team if they could?
The more likely answer is that they didn't like or couldn't find or couldn't interest anyone with eligibility in 2015 and already had one that Cam likes for 2016. Why try to read any more into the situation?

Crowton said they liked him because he was a "great red zone" QB in high school. Which is like saying you took a RB because he always scored on the goal line.

I'm gonna give OP a pass and assume he was born in 2006. Kid, put down mommy and daddy's computer and prepare for an awesome football season with harris at QB.
