kiper ol

It's an Insider article, I got it with a free ESPN magazine subscription. It's fairly worthless, but I thought I'd pass on some LSU related stuff.

He rates the top five seniors and top five underclassmen at T, G, and C.

Jerald Hawkins- 5th rated underclassman tackle

Vadal Alexander- 2nd rated senior guard

Ethan Pocic- 3rd rated underclassman center

Interestingly Alexander and Pocic are likely playing tackle and guard respectively.

Hawkins, Alexander, and Pocic all have top 10 potential. I'm not saying they will reach that status, but all three are elite linemen. Pocic was much better at guard and NFL teams will love his potential at every o-line position. Hawkins has gone from a very raw player, to starting LT in three years. Alexander is no doubt a beast at guard, but his ability to play tackle shouldn't overlooked. He showed flashes for greatness his true freshman year at RT, even though he was rushed to starting, was 30-40 pounds overweight, and had an injury late in the year. Now he's in the best shape of his career and has almost three full years of playing time under his belt.

If we played Vadal and Hawkins both on the left side, who would play RT?

I would love to see Pocic there. Doubt it would happen though

And then some combination of Brum, Clapp, Malone, Boutte at Center and RG

Our best line I think looks like this:

LT- Hawkins
LG- Vadal
C- Clapp
RG- Boutte
RT- Pocic

Then the next season you would lose Hawkins and VadaL i think and move to this

LT- Pocic
LG- Boutte
C- Clapp
RG- Brumfield
RT- Teuhema

That's a damn good starting 5. Malone is the utility guy who can plug in at any spot if we need him.
