It was known secondary would be weak. FSU would be able to score. LSU’s offense was supposed to be great. OL got mauled by FSU DL. And WR drops. If Lacy catches 3rd & 6 pass he probably scores. It’s a different game. LSU seemed to give up after that.

If LSU does not get better QB play, prepare for at least 4 more losses.

Was the evaluation of talent and how to use it.

The question is why did he stay in after multiple drops? It's not like they lack backups at that position.

It’s this. I defended the kid all summer thinking there was no way he wouldn’t improve significantly. I was dead wrong. He got worse. He literally did hardly anything right. He’s reads on rpo was horrible. All he throws is outside routes. He’s so easy to defend that he’s in trouble now. And he zero improvement all summer he’s not just going to improve. They have to start splitting time or we are in BIG trouble. Defenses have the pattern to completely shut him down.

The problem is that we were told all summer and fall camp how much improved the OL was. And the depth. It was a big step backwards. Brad Davis needs some heat for it.

Defense gave up 6 straight scoring drives. But it’s the offense?

JD not utilizing the pocket created doesn’t mean o line sucked.

I agree with WR point though. JD also missed lots of open guys

I’m partial to Nuss too but, don’t you think OL play and receiver drops made Daniels look worse?

I agree and wish I knew. Kelly needed to rally the troops on the sideline and pump em up. Instead he looked clueless.

Generally correct.

And our coordinators need to understand they will do better or will be looking for jobs.

It was such a stark contrast with a team that last year that seemed to refuse to quit (except for maybe the Tennessee and UGA games). In fact, they seemed to get stronger and more energy as the games wore on.

Defense gave up 6 straight scoring drives. But it’s the offense?

And the offense helped how?

Agree that House should have made adjustments but we knew going in secondary would be torched. Everyone said it would be a shoot-out.

Of course, but 5 cannot play QB. If he remains starter the season will be a train wreck.
