The reason why I left out Saban and Miles was that I did not have a personal relationship with them. In fact, neither one could pick me out of a crowd of two. I was not traveling with football and when Saban came to LSU, he started doing his pre game interview on gameday, and Miles continued to do the same. The previous coaches starting with Archer did pregame on Wednesday mornings and I did those interviews and also worked their coaches shows so I got to know those guys.

If you can't handle criticism in this business, you are in the wrong business. Some of the stuff on here is classless and childish, but if someone that I can reason with does not like what I do or how I do it, I'm certainly going to try to change their minds if it's possible. I want as many people as possible watching or listening to my show. I saw some things on here that were not clear or completely false and I wanted to set the record straight. I'm sure I will continue to be called every name in the book by some, and they are entitled to their opinion.

Kevin, thanks for coming on here and addressing this directly. And thanks for the years of work. I have enjoyed hearing you over the years, especially when getting back to my car after leaving Tiger Stadium and hearing the postgame show. I for one am disappointed in this news. It won't be the same without you. (And Jim too. Wow, will things sound different this fall.)

Best of luck in your new endeavors.

Kevin, really enjoyed you on the air. I grew up listening to you and the rest of your crew.

You are a great ambassador of the LSU brand and that's even more evident by you coming on here. The LSU Network clearly should have treated you better at the end but i guess the lack of respect is expected by this point.

Best of luck going forward, thanks for all of the great years and memories you supplied to me and my late father. The postgame show and game highlights won't be the same without you. All the best.

Kevin, thanks for coming on the board to talk us. Many of us will miss you. Large companies and organizations often fumble the ball in releasing employees and contracted workers. For that as an LSU fan I apologize. All of us deserve to be treated with respect.

Second, Let me make this an official invitation to stay on the board with us. Engage with us, have fun, express your opinion and share some "stories" with us along the way.

Best of luck to you ! ( I will keep watching the fishing show!)

many of you have pointed out, I'm not the most talented guy in the world so I feel blessed to have lasted 28 years.

I never had a problem with your work. Only so much juice you can squeeze out a grape on the post game without venting your own opinions.

Does this tell you where the fish are biting because this could have saved me a bunch of time years ago.

That's not how it works here... strategic name dropping can get you legendary status on this board.

Thank you for the kind words 756. There are definitely enough stories to write a book. Nothing controversial just lots of fun things that happened showing the human side of athletes and coaches. I think one of the biggest thing that a lot of fans don't acknowledge is that athletes and coaches are people just like us. They deal with the same daily things that we have to face on a daily basis.

Kevin always have enjoyed your post game shows as well as your other shows dealing with LSU. Being over here in Orlando since 1998 the shows kept me in touch with LSU in ways I couldn't get here.

Enjoy your outdoor show work as well, having 20+ years in the outdoor radio business and having gotten my start in the Baton Rouge market, have been following your work for many years. You do a great job and it will be different not hearing you anymore post game. Keep on enjoying the outdoors and letting people know what's going on. Our business is much more than most people know........Congrats on your long run!!!

Thank you for your time at LSU, Mr. Ford. It has been a pleasure and a fun ride listening to you cover athletics that I've grown up listening to.

Enjoy your time away!

I will miss you on the football broadcasts. Your voice, like Jim Hawthorne and Doug Moreau, meant LSU football. The saddest time of the year for me was when you signed off the air after the final football game. It won't be the same without you and Jim. Thanks for all the great times and memories.
