They basically ran him off the basketball broadcast, he became a 3rd wheel.

Here's to the "Stats and Facts"

Still a few old familiar voices left...Doug Moreau, Patrick Wright, Bill Franques. But times are a changin'....

I am really happy that Doug came back this year. I have always liked listening to him anyways...but losing him AND Hawthorne at the same time would have been rough.

As for Ford, I am sorry to see him go. We are creatures of habit and he has been part of LSU Radio for a long time. I found his Facebook post and I thought it was pretty classy. Best of luck to him going forward.

He didn't do baseball this past year at all.

He still does the post game football show on Eagle 98.1, but doesn't work for LSU at all.

Ford was so insufferable. He won't be missed.

Really wish Hanny would come back for baseball

It's been known for years that Hanny's dream job was to replace Hawthorne. That dream is over. It's probable that he and LSU came to a mutual agreement concerning that and decided it was time to part ways.

But, yeah, Hannagriff was great on the baseball broadcasts. Gonna miss him there.

You would NEVER hear criticism. Dude is a ridiculous homer and not objective at all. He actually was talking about LSU in the playoffs in 2014 after the Ole Miss game.
