Why was he scared to tackle, twice he ran along side the ole piss player and could have taken them down. Both went for TD,s

It happened on a couple 3rd or 4th and 1's as well

He played insanely timid Saturday

I just figured he was slow and couldn't catch them.

On that long pass play, he gave about the worst effort a safety can give.

agree with you here. he been very unimpressive as of late. he plays slow and it doesn't seem he has any confidence.

KHatcher will get ate up on Saturday against the Arkansas passing attack. Hope we see much more of Reid, Eugene, and Loston.

He's built more like a linebacker. He's relatively large safety but not as large as Chad Jones. I would have expected him to be a much better tackler.. He also appeared really slow on that busted pass play. Where was Craig Loston?

What is his 40 time. It seemed as if the Ole Miss players were just blazing by him. Regardless of how many tackles he was credited with, it doesn't matter if you are giving up on long plays for touchdowns. Now I can say that Brandon Taylor was truly missed.

Oh man...that play burned me. I was yelling at the TV and cursing Hatcher until I saw the replay and it was apparent that the coverage wasn't blown by him. that said, a lot of the LSU defensive backfield played timid against Ole Miss. Don't know what was up.

I think Eric Reid was the man most responsible for the blown coverage on that long pass play everyone's talking about. I do think Reid's gonna be a beast, though.

I was thinking the same thing. He more-or-less escorted that OM receiver into the end zone Saturday night. It appeared to me he could've easily cut him off and kept him from the goal line.

Hatcher took some really bad angles too.

I wasn't impressed at all by his play. It seemed he was escorting Masoli into the endzone.

Chavis said it was a problem with the call, not Reid, whether it was cover, or the truth.

Yeah, that play was all Reid. But I do think Reid has much more ability back there than Hatcher.

I was disappointed at Loston for not blowing up Masoli on that throw back pass. He sat there and waited for him to catch the ball and then missed the tackle.

I just wish he would have blown him up. It was a golden chance.
