We had less than 100 total yards in the game, so no way in hell were we going to be competitive.

Jefferson finds DeAngelo Peterson wide open early in the 3rd quarter would have made it a 12-7 deficit. The way that team ran spurts of points meant the whole game would have played out differently.

that game we had some Mojo at first.
JC copeland fumble was brutal
the center snapped it and Mett couldnt fall on it and it led to Bama's FG
then that awful Pass interference call.
if we could have been up by 7-10 points at half then its a different game

Les was a bad coach.
I watched the 2011 SECCG today and it’s no wonder Bama pushed out shite in a few weeks later. All we did was run. We were just much more talented than UGA.

Actually IMO, 2012 was easily the game we should have won. 2 missed FG. Les goes on 4th down and doesn’t get it (with Ware in the wildcat.) Mett playing his arse off and we run the ball three times with 2 min. left instead of trying to score a Td and finish it. Just an absolute waste of Mett, Landry, OBJ

I have never heard that said by anyone at LSU. I based this from Aranda more kickers than Lb on Scholly, the number of FB and TE. Also, why did Les sign so many WR when he knew he was never going 4 or 5 wide.

The icing on the cake is according to 247 we only signed 1 (that's correct ONE LB) over the course of 2 signing classes 2014 and 2015.

IF that is not piss poor roster management I don't know what is?

Mett misses a wide open receiver for a first down to run out the clock, and chavis can't figure out how to cover their receiver in the middle of the field....

Oke Miss, mett threw 2 or was it 3 interceptions, when we should have been running the fing ball

I honestly believe Les Miles is actually a worse X & O coach than Dale Brown was,

He really was abysmal.

2012 was just sickening.

Second-quarter:
(1) The 4th and 12, fake field goal screen pass that was stuffed.
(2) The 4th and 4, 55-yard field goal that was short with 1 minute remaining in the half. Alabama got the ball on the 50 and proceeded to score a TD to go up 14-3.

Fourth-quarter:
The 4th and long 1, Spencer Ware QB sneak that was just stuffed.

We left 6-10 points on the board that night. Alternatively, we gift-wrapped Alabama about the same with bone head playing.

I'm so thankful for his archaic, idiotic play calling his gone. He wasted so many greats and could be greats:

Odell Beckham Jr
Jarvis Landry
Leonard Fournette
Jeremy Hill
Russell Shephard
Rueban Randle
Malachi Dupree
Travin Dural
D.J. Chark
Trindon Holliday
Keiland Williams
Brandon LaFell
Chris Toliver
Deangelo Peterson

I love these threads bashing a guy that actually beat Bama multiple times and was in position for two more victories against them in order to prop up a guy that we cheer for if we actually score.

This is a stupid fanbase.

LSU had that game won, until some jackass decided it was better to get the personal foul when LSU had the ball at the yard line. A TD would have sealed the game there.

Some things haven’t changed. We’re still loading up on WR, DB and “athletes” while our OL is a weak link.

What about Tennessee 2005 at Tiger Stadium, which was Les Miles' 2nd game at LSU. I said that night, oh shite we are in trouble with this guy.

When I mention idiots that disliked Miles from Game 2, especially knowing what we know about what was going on in and around the program after Katrina and Rita, keep this post in mind. I have not made that up...these fans exist. In droves.

Miles goes on to go 114-34 at LSU with 2 SEC Titles, a NC and a second NC appearance heading the longest run of success in the program's entire history...but THIS GUY knew we were in trouble.

Honestly...I fricking hope we're in that kind of trouble again REAL SOON with our current coach.

Attempting a FG while getting curb stomped by a rival is the opposite of saving one's dignity. It's an admission of you getting rolled.

Backing into an NC

How was being clearly the best 2 loss team in 2007 backing into a spot?

Are you suggesting there should not have been a BCS game that year since there was only 1 one loss team? Should OSU have just been given the title as the only one loss team...or did their one loss also disqualify them as having backed into their spot?

Some of you guys will find any reason at all to complain...

ETA: It's not like we did not need help to "back into" the 2003 game as well...though I'm sure many of you have forgotten that by now. Had a game involving Hawaii not gone the way it did, the computers would have had SC in the game rather than LSU. Did we "back into" that game given that we required some luck?

always wished the Michigan hire was true in 2007 but Kirk herbstreit let me down that day. His clock managements against ole miss and Tennessee back to back years alone was enough to get him out of here. He is a great guy but it was long overdue

Be thankful it didn't happen in 2007 because we would have hired Bo Pelini. Things could have been much worse with Pelini.

Les quite possibly is the worst game manager of a coach in the history of college football. This will be his legacy.

Can we talk about Stephen Rivers for a sec. I refuse to believe he was a worse option than Jennings/Harris in 2014.

Why do you refuse to believe this? Did he accomplish anything else anywhere else? What about me? Would you refuse to believe I wasn't a better option?
