Truth be told he should hold onto Robichaux until tomorrow. Yall should knock Jackson State around pretty good today.

Yea. It would be a horrible decision to go home 0-2, having not used your best pitcher.

With the way Jax State was swinging the bats yesterday, I'm betting it will be the other way around.

Incorrect.

It was well known that sam houston state came in with a good starting rotation. 3 legit starters. By all accounts, Sam Houston was the favorite last night when ULL didn't start Robichaux.

It gives them the best chance to win the regional. If they are just worried about not making an early exit then fine pitch him, but if they truly want to win it then save him and take your chances tonight.

Is there a reason this hasn't been moved to the MSB?

Reading comprehension isn't your strong point in life I guess. There is nothing hindsight about saying that it is well known that they came in with a good starting rotation. That's the truth of the matter, and it was discussed in a lot of the region previews.

It was absolutely the right move to throw him last night.

What it was, was a gamble and ULL loss.

Not even a worthy gamble when you are away from home and playing a team one seed under you.

J-State is swinging the sticks pretty good right now.

Robichaux is getting a mulligan. He's gonna have to pitch his kid today to ensure there will even be a tomorrow for his club.

And context isn't yours either, because that is a horrible time to bring up reading comprehension. It has nothing to do with my response.

You have stats and past performance to go by in baseball. But nobody knew that SHSU would have done what they did to ULL last night, unless it's the day after. Oh, and spare me before coming back with "I knew, because I follow college baseball". No you fricking didn't...

Shouldnt ULL save their ace for the regional championship game?

If you only play to win the regional, then dont you want your ace pitching that game.

I haven't read the entire thread...but teams that aren't #1 seeds playing at home who try to act like they are #1 seed playing at home...quite often frick things up. In other words...if you aren't the #1 seed you do everything imaginable to win that first game..then take your chances after that.

I'm not playing off anything. You took an overused phrase thrown around way too much on this board and tried to apply it to this, in poor context. It makes no sense other than you trying to force it to be a smartass.

It's like the poor person trying to use an intelligent word out of context to appear smart.

Now get back on your knees and get back to sucking Tony off for making a piss poor decision that will more than likely send the Cajuns home today or tomorrow.

They didn't lose the game because of starting pitching, there was nothing wrong with the decision. He did what he thought he had to do win the regional. And with being said, he shouldn't cave now. If that's the philosophy he shouldn't use him against Jackson State either.

Saying that it's well known that they have a good starting rotation doesn't make sense? It's hard to argue with someone that believes this. Have a good day and don't get so angry there fella.

Hate people like this.

LSU can't talk about one of the 4 teams in the Baton Rouge regional? STFU
