You know it has to be scary when we sat in our seats at Ravens games and called out the plays before the ball was snapped, thinking that if we knew the plays, then what about the opposition?

The Ravens put up more than 500 yards, Flacco threw for 380 and three TDs, and Rice rushed for more than 100 yards in the first game against the Patriots this year. Kind of amazed that Belichick doesn't study film because you'd think he'd know every play that was coming too.

most fans are the "I knew we were going to run that play" types

Exactly. Which is why I put zero stock in the opinion of anyone who says that. If you're one of those types, even if you are right sometimes you probably over value how frequently.

And like I said, "pass to Welker," works 33% of the time with New England, and no one has questioned their offense.

+1
These Nostradamus Fans are retarded and full of themselves.
Put to the test they couldn't name 20% of the play sheet calls for the DnD and the coverage, much less the exact play call the OC sends.

Cam Cameron has had success at the highest level of football on multiple teams. His stint as head coach was not successful, but he will be coordinating the offense (Les is the HC!). Cameron will be a major asset in Baton Rouge (IMO).

Just based off of his resume, I can't see how anyone can be negative on this hire RIGHT NOW. If he looks predictable or does not have success after a season or two....I can see negative feedback. Until then, you are just rain-making and can't be satisfied.

Just to be clear, you had Jubilation w/ Stud at OC & now have skepticism w/ Cam at OC.

I just want to stress, however, that jrevonte is a great LSU fan, and all of his opinions concerning the team are welcome and respected. He's the type of fan that should be treated like you might, say, treat someone who, hypothetically, had a son who was probably going to be a high-profile prospect in a couple of years...

Cameron had Brees, Rivers, and Flacco in their development stage and they have all developed into above average starters in the NFL

Not fair...

i have over 25 years of football experience both playing and coaching! aside from my son being high profile, how do you think he became high profile it wasn't by accident...

Your right Brees, Rivers, and Flacco are pretty terrible. Please Stud don't go!

I don't recall his claiming to be a football telepathist, but if he's coached for 25 yrs, I expect he can do a bit better than the avg rantard.
I highly doubt he will tell you he can guess every call. How badly would a coach get blown out selling out on every hunch?

Anyhow, wasn't singling anyone out, just hear it often.

Regardless of what people think, I'd rather have a proven, successful NFL OC (Cam) calling the offense over an OLine coach who was thrown into the OC position because the guy hired to do that job had medical issues and wasn't up to do it (Stud)

Who would you have hired if you were King for a day?

Well over the past 5 years there has been anywhere from 80 to 110 OC's better than LSU's and they did it with less talent. I don't think the choice would be too hard.

Exactly. The Ravens were extremely fortunate to make it to the AFC title game and even more fortunate to win that game.

In other words its about to be MORE of the same bullshite!!!
by "bullshite," do you mean an elite program with consistent success at a high level in the toughest conference in CFB, not to mention routinely putting hoards of players into the NFL? if that's bullshite, then i'm on board.

i think most people would agree that flacco is, at best, an average qb who had a brilliant playoff run, with the help of a very strong cast around him. if anything, i think that speaks to cameron's ability to help a qb play beyond his potential. that's a good thing.

and don't be deterred by haters who point out he was fired (insinuating that the firing is an indication of his potential for success). very good coaches get fired in the nfl all the time. the only reason that saban and petrino were never fired was because they tucked tail and quit before they got the chance to be shown the door. and i think both of them are pretty legit coaches, right?

I agree but my question was who would you hire other than Cameron?
