It is actually a good point if JJ doesn't win this season. He has no excuses anymore.

seems like no one in the media can make up their own stories, so they just cut and paste "JJ is a horrible coach."

I'll be the first to admit we can use some better x's and o's along with timeout management, but the media has been grossly unfair to JJ since the off-season

frick that piece of shite. We have one draftable player and we're supposed to be fricking unbeatable. The hate is fricking ridiculous. We had 5 scholarship players when JJ took over and he already has us in the NCAAT in year three. Beat more top 100 RPI teams then just about anyone, but our coach sucks. bullshite.

That article is shitty

I think most would agree that JJ isn't the best coach in America; however, you can't argue with the direction he's taken our program in only 3 years. We currently sit with the #1 recruiting class, he continues to attract quality assistants & his record has continued to improve.

That's why he hired Treloar
At least Jones is doing the PR and recruiting part of the job because that's been lacking since Jones and Dale were fired.

Brady inherited the Temple AAU teams
Trent did not recruit at all

Jeez you give Miles forever and he was left with "Saban's players" and JJ is left with nothing. Give the man a chance

the guy took over a program that needed a complete overhaul and has managed to have it trend upward every year and is now bringing in a top class

It's not just the local media. Most of the local media won't blast Jones. It's the national media that is calling out JJ's lack of in game coaching. LSU lost several games to teams that were vastly inferior talent wise. LSU lost three of it's last four games, two were to poor teams, and one LSU had a 16 point second half lead.

Left field and uncalled for are perfect descriptions here. It kinda leaves one scratching his head.

Look, I don't believe that Johnny Jones is the greatest tactician to ever wear a suit on a sideline, but JC, to single him out in an article of that content says something. I wish I could figure out just what that is. It's a cheap shot that reeks of backstory, payback, and unoriginality. For all that JJ has not done as a tactician, he has gotten BR interested in basketball again. His mentor had a rather successful career doing the same. Considering where we've been, this fan can stomach where we are now just a little longer.

JJ can't make the free throws for them.

Probably just a pissed UK fan that LSU now has the #1 class.

The local media has occasionally called him out in this area.

It's quotes like this:
quote:

Perhaps Mickey and Martin said ‘to hell with this' and decided they could improve their game at a faster pace under the watchful eyes of a more...um....respected basketball coach.

That should piss people off.
