The South is not a separate country. It's not like Kelly would have to learn a brand new language. Accents don't matter in recruiting or otherwise no midwesterner or "yankee" would ever succeed in southern recruiting. And the whole "Kelly is racist" bunk has been debunked time and again.
At one time I could see this argument having merit but it's becoming less relevant with each passing year.

Not really. Since we're replacing our coach, I'd rather someone other than Jimbo. Would at least prefer we have Chip tell us no thanks before offering Jimbo.

I must confess, I was initially doing some research on Jimbo when I ran across this article. I was very curious how it would be accepted given the ground swell. That's not really true either. I knew how it would be accepted, but the masses needed to be challenged. Meant what I said about preferring Kelly, and I'm also not looking forward to the meltdown when Jimbo loses his first game. Assuming,of course, he really does come here.
