In theory Lee only played in 2-1/2 games this year. Just saying.

I'm not passing judegment on JJ until the truth comes out about the incident at Shadys. Why would JJ, his family, and attorney not keep quite like Josh John's family? Usually if you know you are wrong you keep quite, but in this case they keep saying innocent and JJ did not harm anyone. I would feel bad for anyone that has to go through all this crap if he is really innocent.

Amazing... The right thing to do is get him cleared if he's innocent yet she brings football into it.

If he's innocent then let's get that done. Seems to me if anyone was actually working on it we would some sort of answers by now but that's only my opinion.

As for football it's a seperate issue. At this point the guy hasn't practiced etc for a few weeks. Not to mention I don't feel we need to argue the point for or against until he's cleared.

I was agreeing with the aunt until she named him the best qb on the team and made me wonder what she really cared about.

That's all this is about

They are going to try and get the NAACP involved to force les to put him back on the team.

I just really wish they'd let everything play out before trying to start a race war.

I wish he would go there. As a matter of fact, I wish every single Jefferson kid would go to Alabama, especially if one of them is a qb.

Have you seen Travin Dural from BB? If you did, you would not worry about who Bama may get.

I think the whole interview is an attempt to create drama and dissension within the team. There is obviously great disappointment in the Jefferson camp that the team is achieving success without JJ

You are seeing Unglesby earn that $100K retainer. He is trying this in the court of Public Opinion to the extent he can. And it is no accident that after every good game JL has, Unglesby makes some sort of motion, gets the aunt to spew garbage about the NAACP (promise he prompted that) because the better the team does without his client, the less interested anyone is to speed things up. Let justice run its course, and that includes his case coming up when it comes up.

I relish thinking about the day I log on and there isn't a single thread about JJ on this site.

I've supported jefferson from the beginning on this thing. i think the other kid is a trouble making thug with the history to support it.

with that said, there isn't a civil right that is being violated. no one has the "right" to play football. it's a gift and privilege. if was a right, my over 40 year old arse would be out there giving it my all for the tigers.

if his "civil right" is being violated, so is josh johns.

i've said from the beginning. this entire mess is on the b.r.p.d. they said from the beginning they were going to charge second degree battery w/o talking to all the witnesses or viewing all the video. that's exactly what they did. this should have never been a felony charge. once they made it a felony, lsu/miles hands were tied.

the real question is why WGNO wants to create controversy by interviewing his aunt

because they found someone to say something controversial to stir the pot...get ratings up and link hits on their website by everyone at the rant...

Great point......it worked too as evident by all the selective outrage by some of the jackasses. Hell.....the aunt did not say anything about the NAACP or FBI, the reporter said it after the piece. You would think that if she said that, you would definitely want that in the clip. Why report it when you have the video????

Who fricking cares what jj's aunt thinks.

This is an attempt to make him more important than the team.

He is not.

Lee already at four passing tds, with only 1 pick. We are off to a WAY better start than last year.

Thank God its Les's decision to play the very best player!no ours.
Jefferson will be back, we all know this. Whether he starts or not is up to the coaches.

I have news to all though- according to the motion filed yesterday, another player on our team has signed an affidafit that he was defending himself against Lowery.

That's another player gang, not JJ!

les will play the best QB

Jarrett Lee is the best guy. he's managing the game and we're winning.

next year, no way in hell that JJ beats out Mett for the starting spot.

While what she's saying there is classless as hell, lets take a second and look at it from her perspective. If she truly believes that he didn't do it, and lets say he didn't, then he got fricked over HUGE. It's not like LSU could do anything other than what it did though. The rules are the rules and he's out on FELONY charges. If she wants to be pissed at someone it shouldn't be LSU, it should be the BRPD.

Before we lay ALL the blame on the BRPD (and there's plenty for them), let's not forget that JJ and the other players shouldn't have been there to begin with. Forget all the crap excuses about "tradition". Before his aunt starts bitching about how he's being treated now, he needs to accept responsibility for being there to begin with.
