JJ will start regardless of competition.

JJ will start regardless of competition.
If JJ is starting against OU, he won the competition.

I believe there is zero chance anyone but JJ starts against Oregon. None.

You're a broken record.
Everyone knows you believe that.

Interestingly, everyone else believes JJ will start game one as well. Including yourself.

Before fall practice even starts?
You see, you and I have exactly the same opinions, you just don't want to admit it. JJ is your starter before the competition even gets in full gear. Even you believe that.

Before fall practice even starts?

Are you saying you believe that, too?

Sure.

So it's not your belief that JJ will be starting against Oregon? Didn't you just say that it was?
We both agree. Not sure why it's so difficult for you to admit. You know, I know, JJ will start.
If you truly believed in an open competition, there would be no reason to believe JJ would start.

Quit acting like a child.
Let's just simplify this for everyone:
JJ will win the completely legit QB competition.
Do you agree with that statement?

JJ will start.
hence the point of no true QB competition.

Can I predict that LSU will beat Oregon. . .or does my prediction mean the game is rigged?

It doesn't. There is no control over the outcome of a football game. There is control over the outcome of the QB competition. No the same thing.
So it's your belief that JJ is that much more superior than Mettenberger?
Or like myself, do you believe his experience and ability to run will give him the starting position regardless of competition?
Posted on 4/20/11 at 7:37 pm to RogerTheShrubber
quote:Yes there is. There are numerous controls.

There is control over the outcome of the QB competition.
quote:Nope. Just that he will outplay him going into the season.
So it's your belief that JJ is that much more superior than Mettenberger?
I still predict that Mett will overtake him during the season. . .just not by the end of Fall camp.

Does not mean jack shite to Miles if his QB decision "dooms" a potential national championship season.
bullshite. There isn't a coach in this world who doesn't care if he loses. Every coach on earth is trying to win at all times. Period.

It will depend on the performance of the QB's. Krags and Miles will determine who is the winner of this competition based on the performances they see in practice.
My prediction does not imply that it is fixed, anymore than my prediction that LSU will beat OU implies that that game is fixed.
