I got no gripes with JJ. Personally when Lee drives the team down the field I think he should get the opportunity to finish the drive. Les did this last year at the end of a game. I do not recall the game but I remember thinking it sucked.

I also don't think anyone is surprised when JJ runs the ball. I would prefer to can the option and hand it straight to one of our many talented backs. They're more durable. Why risk hurting one of your QBs?

Let me make it simple so that you can understand. Do a poll here and ask if Miles should put JJ in to finish drives when Lee leads the team down to the red zone.

So you observed a few hundred fans that booed, then asked them why they were doing it. Very informative. You must have been busy, and missed a good portion of the game. I admire your investigative nature.

Players often misinterpret what the boos are about. That is why am clearing it up.

"You see....we never boo a player, we just boo because that player steps on the field. There is a HUGE difference"

I understand what you're getting at, I really do. But you need to understand it doesn't make as much of a difference as you think it does, and it is still pathetic no matter how you spin it.

Regardless of whether or not people think JJ should have been put in, it's classless and disgusting to boo him. I don't understand why it's so hard for you to grasp this concept.

This.

And, like others have said, do you really think the players know the difference. They hear boos. Period.

And, for those that say that you were booing Miles, screw you, too! I would venture that the man knows a little more about football than you do.

You rantards who hate JJ do realize that Lee started every single drive but 2. And that Lee played at least one snap on every single drive but the last one with Mettenberger.

I know that putting in a running qb, who is 20 pounds heavier and 3 inches taller than Lee, on a 4th and inches isn't some horrible decision. You are most likely not passing there so why not let the QB who has experience running the sneak run that play? Even better, JJ turned into a decent option QB last season so the defense then has to worry about LSU possibly running an option to the outside instead of simply powering up the middle.

How many of Lee's drives did JJ finish today? 1 and it was a TD on 4th and goal from the 6 inch line.

False
The booing was quite clear from the same folks who give us a bad reputation.
It was pitiful, but the sad thing I wasnt surprised those idiots would do that.

Yep. It's the same bullshite excuse that was used when people were booing Lee in 08. It's time to just face the real fact, we have a large % of f'ing morons in our fan base and in Tiger Stadium on any given Saturday.

For those who did boo, I'd just like to know why you think it's a good idea to put added pressure on one of your own players who is going into the game to try to score a TD on 4th and goal. Regardless of whether you were booing JJ himself or the decision to put him in the game at all.

Someone who did boo, please give me an honest answer to that.

I too thought they were booing the decision. You've got a guy who 10 eyewitnesses say he kicked in the face while he was on the ground. He was arrested on a felony, but it was reduced to battery just because he didn't do enough damage. And you bring him in and let him score the TD from the 1 foot line?

I was much embarrassed by those who chose to boo today.

Nothing about that action helps our team.

Booing a player who has and will continue to pay his price?

Booing Les' decision to play him at that moment, as if Les could give a damn what you think?

Your booing only serves possibly create a separation in the stands and the locker room.

If you booed, I hope you'll reconsider next time because that was and is truly classless.

Nope. It was JJ. Didn't just boo around me. JJ was called out directly.
