Nah.

I take a little pride in just being a better human being than these type of people.

Trashy people are going to act trashy.

Question- How do you distinguish the difference in a boo for a coach or a player? I was watching from Tennessee and could not tell for sure. It did appear to start when JJ went onto the field. The fan that boos the player, should think how they might feel if it were their son or relative. Some people think anything in print must be factual. There are rumors and hearsay and people base their opinion one or the other. The facts are shoved to the side and it appears that not one person on this board know the facts. JJ is accused of being in a fight. The only real fact that I know is he broke curfew and I think he has paid the price missing the games up until this week.

Humor me- regardless if any of you or me like it, Miles decided; that JJ was the starting QB going into this season. JJ did not lose his starting role because Lee beat him out or because of an injury. JJ lost the position because of the lack of visible leadership. He broke curfew, and just because its a frigging tradition does not make it right.

I do not think JJ should start as long as Lee is performing or at the first sign that Lee is struggling. I don't like the 2 QB system, but I'm not the coach. Booing this team and coach was uncalled for and I don't care how mush fans paid for their ticket. They win or lose as a team. JMO

I hear ya. Most people around agreed with me seemed to side with me. They kinda made those that booed around us feel like shite and they laid low for the rest of the half.

Is there any way a person in the act of booing could be considered intelligent or classy looking?

I like how all of the pro-JJ's ignore my well thought out logical responses and respond to the idiots.

It's a terrible strategic decision to switch qb's mid drive, at any point.

Kills momentum, the QB isn't in the flow of the game, the defense knows what's coming. I could go on and on. I mean really, you don't think Lee knows how to sneak?

You don't think the defense would actually be LESS concentrated on the run with Lee in the game?

Also on JJ's drive, you don't think the defense knew what was coming on 3rd and 6-8 when Lee comes in for JJ? If you're going to let him get to 3rd and 8, let him try to make a play with his "Dual-threat" rather than putting in a cold throwing QB.

I can't think of a specific scenario.

I don't believe in booing college players. I was at the game and the boos were directed at Miles. JLee had executed a drive to the 1/2 yard line when Miles made the decision to removed Lee. When Jefferson came in, the boos rained down not against Jefferson, they were directed at Miles. The reason I know the boos were not directed at Jefferson was because when Jefferson went back in the game, no boos were heard.

I loved it last year when we'd run it on first and second, bring Lee in on 3rd to pass on 3rd and 8, and then punt.

Wasn't mid drive. It was 4th down on the 1. Les thought JJ gave them the best opportunity to score. He scored. I don't see any reason to boo our own team, especially when we are ranked 1st in the country.

Then why was Lee cheered when he replaced JJ on third down? Was it because he was making a great coaching decision?

Jumbeauxlaya- I do nto disagree with your assessment of switching QBs in the middle of a drive. I think you are spot on. I'm not pro JJ nor am I against the kid playing. I also believe the offense is more productive to this point with Lee. Don't kill the momentum. Its about bringing the crystal home at the end of the season. I would much prefer having JJ ready to go at a moments notice. The fans do not get to make the decision about who plays or the play calling. No matter what--IMO the booing was wrong.

Well, thanks for proving you didn't read my entire post, I'm clearly upset about switching JJ out for Lee on the 3rd down later in the game as well.

No, I read the whole thing. I just don't see how people can say they booed the "decision" to bring in JJ for the score, but cheered the decision to bring in Lee on third down.

That's BS. Jefferson was booed and there's no question about it.

He knows it, the team knows it and Miles knows it.
