Here is my position on Landry. 1) I did not vote in the last LA Governors race and 2) I will vote against Landry next time even if the 2 choices are Jeff Landry and Non of the above. (obviously Landry as incumbent is listed first).

This was literally not your position.

So brave! Do us a favor and don’t vote again. Voting based on feelings doesn’t do anyone any good. See the current situation in the U.S. as a prime example.

Sounds like polling numbers have come in. This was a huge misstep for the Gov. Mulkey is the most popular coach in the state, and was probably not a political enemy of Landry. He should have been doing things to court her, not besmirch her.

Oh, no, I will 100% vote next time. I didn't like him when he was AD and like him less now. He 100% used the AD office to serve is own Political interest rather than do what his job title was, to ensure the the LA Constitution was followed.. 100% politicized the LA AD office. So yes I will be voting next time against that demagogue.

So when you absolutely had a reason to vote you decided not to, but now that your feelings are hurt you will 100% vote next time. So brave!

Well both candidates last time were worth a penny (think like maybe a penny stock which typically trade less than $5 bucks per share of stock), in my view. Landry has confirmed to me he is a 0 so simple math 1 penny > 0.

Agree that Landry's initial comments on all this were dishonest, not just ill-informed. However, that is not a central point here because anyone who has followed Jeff Landry knows that he has never permitted his career to be burdened by an excessive commitment to honesty.
To me, the fascinating thing is not his lying, but his willingness to take cheap shots at his own constituents (and LSU and its coaches) to get some headlines for a few days ,
He actually thought this was a good thing for Jeff...

frick him. There are so many ways he could’ve handled that better. Now that tool is just crawfishing because he jumped to gun in an effort to peacock.
Get bent Landry.
Get bent Landry.

Hmmmm……::.kinda like when JBE went on TV and inferred that if voters didn’t vote for and pass a tax ON THEMSELVES that he would defund and/or discontinue the LSU football program, right?

Man, I love my state, but we have imbeciles running the show.

Considering Landry supports giving our tax money to the Ukraine, and Israeli wars and also supported Iraq war and the 20 years we spent in Afghanistan he has no room to talk. He's part of the problem along with anyone who voted for the Bushes, Obama, etc or any other warmongering filth

Close as he'll ever come to an apology, and that wasn't really even close.
