I'd expect Hickey, Gray, Martin, Mickey, Robinson. The staff sees Robinson as a potential one and done. If he's in shape, he'll start.

LSU played Mickey at the 5 a few times even with JOB in the game during the tournament. In the zone, he played the middle.

I've watched some Robinson film and personally he is gonna have to get in so much better shape to even think about starting minutes. I think he has great potential, but just like it took Martin some time, I think it's gonna take Robinson time. I definitely do not think Robinson is 1 and done type.

I expect Martin to make huge strides on his perimeter game in the offseason. He'll stay at the three.

I like Martin on the perimeter also. It's gonna depend on who stays. If all three stay, Martin should spend all his time at 3. Otherwise LSU may need him to play some 4. Also depends on how ready Grey/Hornsby are to play.

That would be called speculation. Im not sure what we are looking at with Bridgewater. I know he wasn't able to attend any team stuff so he doesn't have a leg up like someone who just redshirted.

Most were surprised he got the scholarship papers at all, but at this point if you have to cut numbers, he seems more likely than a lot of other options.

Still only speculation. Obviously coaches aren't coming out and saying who isn't gonna make the roster next year.

Really, a FRESHMAN decides he will stay for another year. Wow! Could we just not waste our time on them if we learn they are just using LSU and the scholarship money for a one year display of their talents? Hopefully Florida will serve as a model of how to win championships. Sick of the one and done. Go somewhere else.

neither do i, but he will play more down there next season and it'll be good for him. his game is still developing on the wing, he HAS to get better defensively if he is going to play big minutes there and he will. but this team as a whole has a long way to go in that department. he needs to attack more. it really opens things up.

The school uses these athletes for $$$

It's a symbiotic relationship of using each other. It's college athletics.

This is off topic but must be discussed. I've always loved your talk of a white palomino stallion. It has always intrigued me. Well I went and tried to look up these mythical creatures only to find out that palomino is just the color coat of a stallion where the horse is gold with a white mane... So I am a bit intrigued on how this white palomino stallion is even possible...

What's this "level" Martin is talking about?

Can't be pro ball, because he's not even an above average college player at this point.

This is not even close to accurate. Dude is a 3-4 year player easily.

So a guy says he wants to come back to college to improve his game so he can go on to the next level.

And your "quality" and "intelligent" reply is what level is he talking about because he's not pro level right now? fricking awesome.

I really don't mean to be a dick, but no one on lsu's team needs to leave early to go to the pros

He can go to Europe and make 65k-100k (likely untaxed) next year, or come back to LSU.

He could also stay at LSU and get a degree and make 65-100k a year for a 20-30 years. Tearing your ACL when you're a pharmaceutical sales rep doesn't end your career.
Make your name in america, not turkey. You play a few years at LSU, get a degree, try Europe out if you can't play in the NBA, and if you fail in Europe or get tired of it after 10 years, you at least have a degree and a reputation that can position yourself to make 100k a year easily back in the good ole US of A.

and if you think the good ole US of A is going to let you work overseas and not pay taxes, your out of your mind.
If a guy plays for a European team, he usually doesn't pay taxes to that country, but when he comes back to the US, he's paying taxes for all the income he made.

While I understand this, it's not like all the credits he's earned goes away. He could come back to school for 1 year. However, he can only play as long as his body allows him, so why not go make the money while you can and come back to LSU if it doesn't work out.

I hope he stays, but I want people to realize their are reasons to leave early and not go to the NBA.
